Bailey's pov~
It was five months ago now, but I still remember when the messages started like it was yesterday....
I was in health class watching the lacrosse players through the window, they were amazing.
I wish I could play lacrosse again, I really miss my team but two years ago when I was playing my leg got stuck between two of the long sticks and it broke in the three main places. My doctor Mr Martin thinks I might not walk without my crutches ever again, but I know he's wrong...
Anyway back to the messages,
As I was watching I noticed my best friend Nikole sitting under a tree on her phone, I sighed to myself she's so good I don't get why she doesn't play. As I was looking out the window I heard a phone start vibrating like crazy.
The whole class turned and stared at me annoyed "Shit." I cursed quietly while unzipping my bag and scurrying for my phone.
"Today?" Yawned Mr T tapping he's foot impatiently.
I grabbed my phone and muted it straight away "Sorry sir."
When the class turned back to the board I decided to have a quick peek at the notifications, as annoying as Mr T is he's still the least strict.
When I clicked on the notifications it came up with 17 messages from a private number, So I decided to take a look.
The messages read:
-hey hoe bag
-ya know what bails rhymes with? fails.
Honestly I couldn't help but laugh at how dumb that insult was.
-Nikole doesn't even like you
And a whole lot of worse things, as I was scrolling through I shivered a single tear and realised It's probably a one off anyway since I've never actually done anything....
I was wrong.
Now it's five months later and the bubbly, fun, risk taker me is totally gone. I'm not depressed or anything but I'm still not the same, whoever's messaging me must really hate me.
I was walking home from school on my crutches, my house isn't too far so I can manage. I heard my phone vibrate a few times but I didn't bother checking the messages I knew who it'd be.
Then it started ringing, so i looked at who it was, a private number so I decided to pick it up and give the bully his/her satisfaction.
End of chapter one~
What do you guys think??
I know it's rushed and short but I'll try and do better x
