Mika's PoV

What is this feeling? It feels like I was floating in the midair with no one beside me. I don't know what's going on. I feel numb but floating. How what that even possible? Where am I? What happened?

"You're awake yet?" I open my eyes and saw someone. I know him, still I feel like I don't know him.

"Who are you? Where am I?" I asked but he smile. He held my hand and kiss it.

"I am your mate." I widen my eyes because of what he said.

He's lying. He can't be my mate. There can't be more than one mate. Mond is my mate and no one else.

I take my hand off of him and he looked hurt. "Please consider that I am really your mate." I close my eyes and look the other way.

It can't be. It's not him. I can feel that he was.... sincere.
But how can that be? I never knew him. I never want another guy to be my Mate. Yes, Mond rejected me but he is still my mate and I can still feel our connection. But this guy, he said it like it was the real thing. The real feeling and... It's so real.

"You need more rest. I'll hunt for food." He said but I didn't reply.

I fall asleep after that. I dreamed about my wolf looking at me with furious eyes.

"That person is our mate! He is the real one!" he said but I didn't accept that.

"No. It's Mond. You know it. You feel it." I told him but he just show his teeth on me.

"That person is our mate! He is the real one!" he said again and over and over he said it all until I woke up. I heard a human scream and I jump out of bed. I went outside and saw him, that guy having the woman's heart in his hand.

"You wanna eat?"

"I-I d-don't." I shut the door and left him there. It can't be. That wolf no... that monster ate humans and he want me to eat them too. That is human blood and I do want to eat them but I can't. I'll die if I don't eat but I don't want to eat anybody.

"For Raymond I won't eat any human."

Day after day, that monster brought many human to me. He wanted me to eat them but I don't want to, that's why everyday he went out to find me someone new. Old guy, middle aged, a woman, teenager, child, new born. But every one of them, got killed by him and I didn't do anything. I can't do anything. I don't know who he is and I don't want to be like him.

A month has passed and I feel the hunger.

I want to eat.

Anything.

Anyone.

Then I heard his voice. The voice of my mate. The voice of Mond, in pain, hurt and I feel his heart beating fast.

"MOND!" I shouted and open the door for the first time that I feel like forever.

"M-Mika." He feel weak, look weak, and dying.

"No, NO! Don't touch him!" I shouted and run towards them but this monster just throw Mond far away and hold me in the neck.

"You are my mate. You can't love this human being! Eat him! He'll be the key for you to be with me. We'll be together and we wolves will rule the world! Eat the De Vega kid. NOW!" I can't breathe. I feel like I'm numb. I feel like floating again like the last time but this time it feels like I'm dying and not healing.
