A month ago i would have never expected Marquis to even try to get my number. Im not ugly i just figured i wasnt his type. Anyways we ended up getting an A in the project and Marquis and I became closer. we talked on the phone all the time.
"Wassup ma" Marquis said grinning. "hey" i gushed hugging him. "so i got something to ask you." he said rubbing his hands. "okay" i said smiling and closing my locker. Lord please let him ask me out this time. I think he been tryin to but people always interrupt. "will you be my-" "what up my nigga!" Chris said cutting him off.
i dropped my head and smiled to myself. "wassup" he said dappin him up. "hey boo"Kiki said hugging me "hey love" i said hugging her back. "why you so glowly like" i asked her frowning. "wellll me and Chris are official!" she said excited. "oh my gosh! congrates!" i said hugging her. " thanks" she said blushing.
the bell rung interrupting our conversation and we went our ways. 3rd block flew by and it was finally the last class of the day! i was so happy about Kiki and Sean i had forgotten what Marquis was gonna ask.
"Wassup ma" Marquis said pulling his desk close to mines. "hey hun" i said twirling my pencil. he smiled showing his pearly whites. was that a blush!? " Alright Class its free time." the teacher said propping her feet up on her desk.
"so about what i had to ask this morning" he said looking in my eyes. "wassup" i said leaning towards him.i don't know what it is but he make me bring out my inner sexy! he flashed that smile again it reminded me how last week Jasmine came at me sideways again bout Marquis.
i was ready to bash her head in but Marquis calmed me down and flashed that smile makin me feel better! " you okay?" he asked bring me out my thoughts. i stopped biting my lip and nodded.
"so you wanna be my girl?" my heart skipped and i immediately smiled. "yes" i said smiling like i hit the lottery.
