Inject Me Sweetly

Prologue

Girls, I thought to myself, are dumb. They always decide to break your heart and don't ever want what's best for you. Why would I ever fall in love with one? Especially one like that chick. I stood up from the tree I was leaning against at the park, holding a diet coke in my hand. I looked up into the spreading branches and sighed, it was time to eat. This picnic was lame and should have ended like... forever ago. I tiptoed over to the table under one of those blue canopy tent things and picking up a sub sandwich, putting it on a plate and grabbing a bag of potato chips, and finally sitting down and preoccupying myself with thoughts once again. Until, of course, Jeffree came over, "Hey, Jayy, are you alright, bro?"

I looked up at him and was blinded by the sun peeking over the curve of his head, I let out a groan and looked back down before saying, "Fine...."

"You're lying," He said in a sing-song voice, grinning and sitting down next to me in a rapid motion.

"Hey! No, I'm not!" I shouted as he got uncomfortably close to my face.

He bit my nose before backing out of my bubble, "You are, tell me what's wrong? It's our high school graduation, you're supposed to be happy!"

"Girls are brats," I muttered, looking up apprehensively at the girl at the table.

"Well, of course they are, they're aliens!" He grinned once more, then laughed at his own joke, "They're meant to be trained, and they're meant to beg, and they're meant to bow to us like dogs!"

"Jeffree...." I whispered, "Don't say that out loud...."

"Just did!" He said.

"Dirty boy," I muttered.

"Hey! You're the one who took it that way!"

"You're the one who said it!"

"Did not!"

"Did too!"

"No!"

"Yes!"

"No!"

"Ye-"

"Ladies, please...." My friend, Dahv, came over with a mock smile on his face, "This isn't a cat fight."

Jeffree threw his hands in the air, screaming, "I WIN!"

I sighed, "They're human beings like us, we should treat them that way, Jeff...."

"What did he say?" Dahv asked.

"That ladies are meant to be trained, they're meant to beg, and they're meant to bow to us like dogs," Jeffree quoted himself.

Dahv and I had that expression that said, "You're impossible...." on our faces. Jeffree laughed at us and stood up, snapping Dahv's nose. That was always his greeting to us two, he'll say, "Hey...." or something like that, and then bite our noses. Gently of course, but he'd still invade our bubbles, "So Jayy, what is bugging you anyway?" Dahv asked.

"And where's your girlfriend?" Jeffree asked.

"She cheated on me," I grumbled.

"That bitch!" Jeffree yelled.

"After two years?" Dahv wondered.

"Yeah, I'm wondering how long she was actually with him. I could have been completely oblivious to it, or it could've just happened. I'm not sure," I answered.

"Well, either way...." Dahv began, "She had no right to do that to you!"

"Yeah, I might go rave tonight, by the way," I told them, "And you're invited."
