Mondays are hell. School. The teachers. Bratty students. Our school "president." Jeez. Thinking about it makes me want to be sick.
As I sat on our crappy buses, I tried to block out everyone. I took out my ear buds and started playing my favorite album made by All Time Low. Twenty minutes later, my bus pulled up to the school.
Teenagers filled our school field, the doors of the school still locked. I looked around for my friend, Sammy because I knew Scarlet and Vi were probably attempting to flirt with Hayden and Lucas.
Sammy was a really close friend of mine. She is freaking hilarious and just great.
"Damn, you look like shit today." Sammy said as she looked up from her phone.
"Well maybe its because we have a huge test today and like no one has fucking time for that."
"True. What's class is it in?"
"
Math." I said while pretending to throw up.
"Oh crap. Good luck."
"Hah.. Thanks...." I said noticing a oddly familiar face from my peripherals.
April. She was talking to the geeks near the side of the school. I examined every move she took. She seemed really energetic and graceful moving st the same time. She was much shorter and cuter in real life though.
To my surprise, I see Scarlet not with Hayden. Instead, she is approaching April and all her friends.
Don't be stupid, don't be stupid... Those words echoed throughout my head. I hope she doesn't mention the Instagram thing.
"Sammy, let's go to Scarlet. Introduce ourselves to the new girl." I grabbed Sammy's hand and pulled her through the crowd of kids till we reached Scarlet and April. I needed to make sure Scarlet wasn't going to bring it up.
"Oh hey Scarlet. What's up?" I said trying to play it cool.
"Oh just introducing myself to the new girl, April. April, these are my friends, Ellie and Sammy."
"Hey. I've heard about you around school. I'm Ellie. It's great to meet you, Apple-" I said trying to comprehend what I just said. Did I just say... Apple? I felt my cheeks get hot.
"Did you just say... Apple?" April asked, looking scary serious. All April's friends stopped laughing with each other and I felt all their eyes turn to me.
I looked down at my shoes trying to avoid all eye contact and I kicked around a few rocks. "Umm... yeah. I guess I did... I'm sorry. I meant to say Apri-"
Cutting me off was the most cutest laugh ever that made my cheeks return to normal and I looked up to find that it was April.
"Nah man. It's fine. Haha! You should've seen your face!"
Scarlet started cracking up and Sammy joined in.
"Anyways, It's cool. I'm fine being Apple."
I chuckled. Damn. This girl is great already. I kinda feel lucky that she followed me. We talked till the bell rung for class to begin.
"See you around Apple." I said laughing.
"Haha. Later, Ellie."
That wasn't as bad as I thought it was. As I walked to my first class, I feel my phone buzz in my pocket.
Scarlet added Sammy to the group chat.
Scarlet 🐧: lmfao guys. guess what ellie called april....
Sammy 😂: APPLE!
Vi 🙈: OMFG REALLY?! AHAHAHAHAH STUPIDDDDDDD!😂😂
Ellie 🐳: YOU CAME UO WITH IT, VI. STFU. SHE FORGAVE ME. WE COOL FAM.
Scarlet 🐧: Ruuuuudeeeeee. Oh yah. I told Sammy the Apple story.
Lucas 🎺: Lol
Ellie 🐳: Look who decides to show up to the group chat. You text like my grandma. One word responses or nothing at all. 😂
Vi 🙈: Heyyyyy.... be nice.
Lucas 🎺: Haha love you.
Vi 🙈: I love you too.
Ellie 🐳: Ew yuck. Go away. Nasty.
Scarlet 🐧: Oh my.
Ellie 🐳: I'm going to class. Bye dweebs.
I shut off my phone and put it in my locker. Test time...

I pretty much flunked my math test. I don't fucking understand. Who the hell puts letters in numbers? I liked it better when we just added and subtracted.
After math, I went to my locker to get out my phone.

April 💩: Hey. You are pretty cool. Scarlet gave me your kik. We should hang some time.
Ellie 🐳: Yeah. That would be cool.
A strange feeling of sensation overcame me while I typed that message. Finally. I have friends. Haha.
April 💩: Ok. Meet me after school!
