I sat in my spiny chair at my desk, as I clicked the play button to a video we had to watch for homework. I played with the neckless crystal around my neck as saddie walked back into my room.
"Hey, im gonna go grab us some drinks, I'll be back," she said as I nodded and sighed leaning back in the chair. I took off the neckless and felt the rock between my fingers, feeling almost like a tiny button on the side. I looked at it and pressed it, and the next thing I knew, the floor was starting to rumble around, it felt like an earth quake.
"SADDIE!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs as she quickly ran upstairs all wobbly, since the floor was shaking. The water in the glasses fell out of the cups and onto the floor as she dropped them, I watched them shatter on the ground.
I didn't care about that right now though, I cared about saddie and I getting out of here. She ran over to me and we cling to each other as a green giant looking portal former right in my wall.
The ground stopped shaking and we felt a medium strong breeze blow threw the portal.
Our eyes widened as we looked at each other. "What the hell is that?!" She yelled in shock as I blinked with wide eyes staring at the portal. "It looks like a portal to me! It looks like the ones from Rick and morty!" I shouted as she gave me an irritated look,
"Im trying to be serious right Now because there's a giant PORTAL THING in your room, and you think about Rick and morty?!" She asked as I frowned,
"Saddie Im being as serious as I can be right now, the portal is in MY ROOM, and it destroyed all of my stuff! Why would I be joking around about that stuff when this is happening right now?" I asked worried as she sighed and frowned at me.
"Your right.. I know.. Your kinda right though, it does look like the portal from the show." She said eyeing it.
"Wanna go threw?" I asked as she took a deep breath and nodded slowly at me.
"Im gonna pack some things in case we get stuck there." I said as she nodded.
"You go get some food." I said as she ran downstairs as fast as possible.
I grabbed a bunch of clothes that her and I can wear, since we're both a size small, and threw them into the large black duffle bag. I grabbed chargers, phones, everything we needed in case we ever got stuck there. We didn't know what was on the other side, and whatever it was, we're going to be prepared for it. I grabbed a bunch of money, then grabbed a hair brush and our makeup stuff, as I saw her run back upstairs with water bottles, bags of chips, Ramon noodles, a portable heater thingy that we use to heat up food when the power is out, and a bunch of other foods. We threw it in the bag and tied it quick, as I threw it on my shoulders.
She grabbed hers and put hers on. I grabbed my colorful knife,

And she grabbed hers; it was a normal colored titanium knife; And we held hands stepping side by side as we took a deep breath and walked threw it.
