YEAR: 135
It lay dead on his porch. Not a Lava Beast, nor another common creature you would think it would be such a dusk pixie, but lying dead on the porch of Ilios Digby was something rather extraordinary, a fuzzy brown cat.
Ilios Digby had just got up to collect his morning post when he had noticed the strange creature. He was dressed in his usual black and green garments that were way to large for him. His countenance was covered by a crimson coloured mask that seemed to have flip up goggles on them. The boots he wore were metallic looking but covered in a coating of what looked like green paint that shimmered as the burning hot sun shone down upon him.
Ilios flipped open the googles revealing his peculiar small purple eyes. He let out a chesty cough but knelt down on the floor and picked up the cat. It was brown in colour but it's fur had been singed by the volcanic terrain that surrounded the house. It is at this point you should know a little more about our good friend Ilios Digby and where he lived.
Ilios Digby had grown up in the city of Vox. He was born to Joseph Digby and Tanya Clearwater in the year 114, however this was not a natural birth. Tanya was unable to fall pregnant so got an evil witch to perform dark magic to give her a baby, but it came at a cost; her own life, not only this but Ilios was born mute.
Growing up as an outsider with his father paying him little attention, Ilios decided to find a way that he could bring people back from the dead without using magic. So he worked and he worked and he searched and he searched until finally he discovered that contained in the volcanic ore in the region of Narys was a substance that could heal wounds just as if it were magic.
At the age of 15 his father killed himself due to depression leading Ilios to be even more determined to safe his parents lives. So it was that Ilios Digby built a house in the fiery volcanic region of Narys dedicating the rest of his days to developing the healing substance into a permanent revive. Ilios never got lonely being the only person to live in Narys, he enjoyed solitude, some one even go to say that he was a misanthropist. Anyways where were we? Oh yes that's right, the fuzzy brown cat.
Ilios Digby held the frizzy brown cat in his arms rather befuddled as to how it had arrived on his door step. He walked back inside his house closing the door firmly behind him and placing the motionless feline on the table.
Ilios sat down on a chair and kept his eyes fixated on the cat. After a few seconds of staring at the animal not moving a muscle he jumped out of his chair like a jack in the box and ran over to a huge cupboard he had on the wall. He opened it up pulling out and chucking glasses until he reaches the back pulling out a small jar containing a red substance. Ilios ran back over to the cat and put some of the substance in his hands sprinkling it over the cat.
Nothing happened after a few minutes of simply staring causing Ilios to get angry and pick the cat off from the table putting it on the floor and repeatedly jumping up and down on it spraying its guts out everywhere. You see another interesting attribute of our young inventor here is that he has uncontrollable anger issues. Something I failed to mention earlier.
Ilios Digby was no ordinary boy when it came to anger. A normal toddler in the land of Istoren might start jumping up and down on the spot crying. A child might start shouting back especially when they develop into there young adult years. But no, not Ilios Digby. By the age of six Ilios had already killed a man.
His father had gone fishing for the weekend by the edge of the Purple Sea leaving him with a nanny.
The nanny was a beautiful young maiden called Pamela Orelias. She had dark brown hair and tanned skin. She was from the other continent but had come to Istoren in order to earn more money.
Ilios did not like nanny Pamela Orelias. He did not like her one bit. It wasn't just the way he found her ignorant for not speaking the language. Yes ignorant, he was a very intelligent six year old. But also the fact that on the night of her death (murder but wait that's coming up) she had forgotten to make him dinner. Even after he reminded her she refused stating it was too late.
Well now this just did not stand with Ilios so he took a little stroll over into the kitchen and took a knife from the draw and hid it behind his back. That night when nanny Pamela Orelias was putting Ilios to bed he pulled out the knife and stabbed right in the parts he did not have. She shrieked as blood came out of her vaginal region. A smirk formed across the face of Ilios Digby who was quite happy that now he had something to eat.
Of course when his father arrived back home and noticed the nurse was lying dead on the floor, Ilios had fabricated a story in which a scary man had come and attacked them both but he was small enough to hide in the wardrobe. Somehow, his father believed him- idiot... Anyways where were we? Oh yes that's right, the fuzzy brown cat.
All of a sudden that cat that had, had half its guts spilt out on the floor sprung up to life and started walking around even with half its brain falling out. Ilios' eyes lit up in awe as he had finally revived the creature. He let out a moan(or grunt) of joy and started skipping about in his house.
The fuzzy brown cat looked up at Ilios and started nuzzling him on the leg. It had worked. The substance had finally worked! Ilios Digby knew now that it was about time he brought his parents back from the dead.
