JM - Project Prep

Upon entering their practice studio a few days later, Jimin grinned at the sight in front of him. Taehyung and Yoongi were already there, seated on the floor as they talked over ideas on paper. Well, Taehyung was on the floor. Yoongi had a chair. As he approached, neither of them stopped talking, but they did make space for him to join the circle.

"...so what if we had a month for each and released something new each week or so? Do you think that would work?" Taehyung was asking Yoongi. After a few seconds of thought, Yoongi nodded his head slowly, and Jimin could practically see his thoughts starting to form. Remembering that they weren't alone, Taehyung turned to Jimin and began explaining to give Yoongi time to organise his thoughts.

"So, basically, what I said was that if we have three months, we do something different each month. Like, in the first month, we produce cover tracks but we sing them in our own style- like they do on Immortal Song, and we do cover dance routines as well and we release them within the month. In the next month, we release original content, like Hobi hyung's choreography or a mixtape kind of track. In the final month, we make random guerilla appearances, like performing the choreographed videos we released live and stuff." Jimin clapped Taehyung on the back.

"Wah, as expected of the concept king Tae Tae! That sounds like a really good idea!" Taehyung grinned at him as the other members and Seong made their way into the studio. Sitting down by Yoongi's feet as Taehyung enthusiastically explained his idea to the others, Jimin turned to the older youth.

"So what are you thinking, hyung?"

"Taehyungie's idea's a really good one. I'm just thinking of who we could possibly call to collab with. Also, how many tracks we should produce, how many songs to cover and how these guerilla concerts are going to be."

"As usual, Yoongi hyung thinks of everything. Well, I also have an idea. Going along with Tae's idea, I think we should decide how many tracks and covers we plan to do as collaborations and how many we plan to do with just the members. Even then, we'd have to decide if we want to split every so often, like how we did for the cyphers or the little cover tracks, like Beautiful and Adult Child, because some tracks might not be suited to all of us as a whole." Namjoon suggested as he came closer to the pair, pulling out other seats for Jin and Seong to sit on as he seated himself on the floor on Yoongi's other side.

The other members joined the circle and after a few debates and alterations with Seong's help, the eight young people were glad to lean back and stretch, satisfied with their final plan layout. Jimin rose to his feet when it was decided that the maknae line would go and get refreshments whilst the hyungs planned how to present it to the team. Seong stayed behind to help them work on how they would present it.

Jimin let out a content breath as he left the convenience store, bag of snacks in hand as he led the way back to their company. It was at that time in the day when many people were working or at school, so there was practically nobody around, and the three young men lapped in the peaceful atmosphere as they strolled back.

It wasn't as though he was unhappy with the attention that they were getting now, in fact Jimin was pleased that all their hardwork was being recognised, but it wasn't easy keeping up with the load of their work when he was tired. Practice, performances, interviews, practice. Even so...he would do it all double time from the beginning just to get that amazing rush he always felt on stage, just to be able to meet all the people that decided to walk with them as they grew as artists.

Jimin was pulled out of his thoughts when he was yanked backwards by Taehyung and narrowly avoided colliding with someone. Bowing quickly, he immediately apologised, stopping halfway when he took note of who it was.
