YG - Release Prep

Yoongi fist bumped Yoona as he led the way into the room. He could see that the maknae line were trying to contain themselves, but eventually they gave up and resorted to bouncing excitedly on the spots they were standing on as they took in Yoona's appearance, unsure of how to approach her.

Seating himself on the chair beside the desk, Yoongi rolled it so that he was right beside her, but facing the rest of the room. Yoona also turned her chair around and glanced at the group that was standing, indicating that they should seat themselves.

"So, Yoongi told me that you're having pre-album teasers for your next album that haven't actually got anything to do with the album apart from the theme?" The group nodded, humoured. Seong took out the folder she was always carrying around and extracted a thin notepad from it, immediately professional once again.

"The idea is that in the first couple of weeks, we record any mixtape tracks, covers or choreography the group have in mind and release every them so often. That way, the boys can get some down time whilst keeping the hype up for their new album. We have two weeks to gather all our resources and begin the production process." Yoona nodded, her head tilting.

"Yoongi called me about doing a collab and since I was walking down this way, I thought maybe it would be cool if I got started already." The young men sent grateful looks to the small rapper.

Yoona glanced at the three young women who were sitting quietly at the back of the room and was about to speak just as the door to the studio opened. Blinking, Yoongi could not believe how many women were with them right now. Compared to usually, they were almost matched person to person with the number of females in the room. Was Jungkook doing okay with all of them being in here? Clapping his hands together, he got the group's attention.

"Firstly, I think we need to make some introductions. After that, let's start planning what will be produced for when and who will be involved. Yoona, you start." He nodded to his friend, who rose obediently to her feet and bowed to the other young women, who also stood up and returned the gesture in perfect synchronisation.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Nam Yoona."

"Pleased to meet you, my name is Choi Seong, I hope we'll work well together."

"I'm Kim Daye, nice to meet you."

"My name is Jung Eunji, good to meet you."

"And I'm Koo Yuri. Let's work well together!" Satisfied that they were acquanited, Yoongi got to business straight away.

"According to the manager hyungs, in the final two weeks of the month before the official comeback, our teasers will be released. That's the time period that they said it's alright for us to hold the geurillas. We need to firstly decide where and when we plan on going, who will actually be there and how we want it all to look."

"We also need to start looking for tracks to cover. And themes for songs and choreographies need to be decided so that our stylists- Eunji-ssi and Daye-ssi- can plan ahead and we can find suitable places for shootings. I suggest dividing all of the work amongst us and the rest of the present team to reduce burden. Of course, the people present here should be the leaders of the sub projects." Seong inputted, writing rapidly even as she spoke. The members nodded excitedly. It wasn't often that they got to be completely in control of their projects.

After around a half hour of discussion, it was decided that Jin, Taehyung and Jungkook would be in charge of finding songs to cover, whilst Namjoon and Yoongi were to find instrumentals for the mixtape tracks. Hoseok and Jimin would also be finding songs to be used for the choreographic covers and originals. Seong and Yuri would work with the team to organise the location and timing of the events.
