Amy didn't know she even fell asleep until she felt Dorian nudging her awake. She sat up and stretched, she looked up at the car headlights bringing light to the front door of her house.
"How'd you..."
Amy shook her head already knowing the answer. She opened the car door and stepped out, she turned back Dorian. "Thanks."
Dorian smirked,"No problem."She shut the door and stalked up her porch steps and turned back. Dorian was still there, probably to make sure she's inside safely.
Finally, stepping in her house she heard Dorian's car drive off. The living room TV was on and she heard chatter. She peered in the living room by the doorway.
She saw her mother and father talking in hushed whispers on the couch. Where was Leo? Amy checked her phone to see if he said he was coming home late. Nope nothing , she thought.
So where was he then?
Amy went upstairs to check in his bedroom. The lights were off and the room was pitch black. Amy blindly felt for the light. Amy squinted through the light and waited for her eyes to adjust.
She looked at Leo's room. The room was surprisingly neat for a boys room, but then again, Leo is hardly ever there. His walls were painted a dark blue and the floor had the same color rug.
The dressers were Oakwood brown and his bed sheets were white. In the bed was a familiar shaped body. An idea crossed Amy's mind and Amy smiled. She walked back 3 steps and flung herself toward the bed, on top of the sleeping person.
"Omph!" The body shape uttered. Amy smiled and lightly sung.."Leooo!"
A hand emerged from underneath the sheets and pushed the covers down, revealing Leo's sleepy face.
He groggily said "Hey sis..."He rubbed his eyes and stared at her frowning.
" What, I have something on my face?"
Leo not talking his eyes off her replied, "Not on your face but your hair." He took some strands and showed her. It was her natural born midnight black hair. Amy gasped, she was surprised it was still that color. She figured once out of water, it would change back.
She was even more surprised that she wasn't more upset. But, she remembered someone saying that she looked beautiful with her natural hair. She blushed remembering the name clearly.
Looking back at her brother she saw he was know sitting up running a hand through his disheveled hair.
He yawned." I've decided to go back to my natural hair roots," she said.
Leo gave her a groggy smile,"About time. I never thought you looked right in red hair."
Amy laughed, pushing Leo playfully."But you decided not to tell me eh."
Leo shrugged his smile lingering." I didn't want to ruin you're image of Ariel."
Amy gave Leo a hug."Aww sis, now you're being sappy." Amy broke the hug and said," Ya know speaking about being sappy, did you know Dad came back today?"Leo looked puzzled." No. I didn't, in fact I was here earlier than usual because practice was cancelled. So as you could obviously see I was taking a nap." Amy got up and looked outside Leo's bedroom, looking left and right. She then slowly closed the door.
"Alright, so now that we're alone....I have tell you something mind blowing!" She plopped herself on the bed pushing a strand of hair that blocked her vision behind her ear.
" Now, what I'm about to tell you is unbelievable, but I trust you won't put your sis in a asylum."
