Chapter 10: magical

Ming li's pov

I struggle in the water trying to breathe, taking in some water in the process. I slowly lose consciousness as I let my body free.

I feel light shinning on my face as I struggle to open my eyes. I feel nothing for a while, my whole body goes numb and I swing my arms lightly, I open my eyes to see that I was breathing in the water.

I look around me and sees a tail, a thing that I have only seen in movies, a thing that I have only imagined.

' Am i dead? ' I asked myself.

Suddenly a fish rushed to my side and looked at me.

' Hello, i am dream fish. '

' Dream fish? And why are you talking?! '

' No. It is you who are talking to me. The language of fish. '

' Language of fish? '

' Fishology. '

' Fishology? Isn't that supposed to be the study of fish? '

' No, not everything with 'ology' means that it js a study, afterall, there hasn't been a single study on the language of fish.'

' Okay, so dream fish, why are you here? And is there anyone else apart from me? '

' I am here to tell you about the things you are to abide by and Yes, but they all are dead. It is rare for anyone to come to this magical lake. '

' Then how did i enter? '

' Long time ago... there was three friends, they were all girls and they would tell their secre---'

' I said listen! Anyways... they decided to investigate and found that it was the other girl. They were confused at first but later found out why. '

' she is from a poor family, so she was always jealous of how rich they were even though the rich girls didn't treat her like she was poor. They were both angry and came upon this tree. They extracted their own blood and their tears of sadness. Buried their mixture under the tree and a magical lake form. For two years, they have studied and created a chemical reaction. The lake had formed and anyone with blood and tears of sorrow can enter. You are the 9th one. '

' So can I change to a human? '

' Of course! '

' But, remember. You can still breath underwater even though you are not in your mermaid form. '

I swam up to the surface of the water and said ' the mermaid i am to be! '

A bright light shone around my tail and my legs magically appeared again. I sat on the edge of the lake and stood up, looking around.

There wasn't anyone and i saw a tree.

I walked around to find the entrance But walked through the walls and enter the local park.

Surprisingly i was in the local park but no one seem to notice me.
I walked out even further and then people seem to slowly notice me. I looked at myself.

Dry clothes, wounds heals and i look totally fine. I walked to school and looked around for the girls.

The girls and Karry was close by. I walked closer and hid behind the wall, listening to their conversation.

" Karry! We handled ming li for you! "

" what did you do this time?! "

" we just poke her eye and cheeks with a scissors and she ran away while crying. "

" did she bleed? "

" yes. And i hope she will go blind and her face will be ruin! "

Ming li clenched her fist tightly and walked out, glaring at all of them. At this moment, Ming Li was ready to turn into a wolf to attack it's prey.

The girls and Karry looked at ming li shocked due to her appearance. Karry looked at the girls with a disappointed look.

" why--- "

" you mean why is my face still the same? "

" You are--- "

" supposed to be blind and bleeding? Well i have to thank you! I got a special gift. Indeed a special gift. "

" what is-- " before Wu Xin could even finish, Ming li walked away and into the classroo. Classes was on, I looked at the teacher and glared at her. She stared at me angrily.

" Ming li! Why are you there? Even though You are a too student, it does not mean that You can don't come to classes. You are to go to your seat and write, ' i will not miss a single class again' "

" Yes madam. I will write a long letter thanking you also! " Ming Li says sarcastically

" what for? "
