Chapter 22: Gold land

" did i just hear him say that?! How did he know! " Ming li whispers to herself

" Who is he talking about? " the vampire asks

" Someone i know. " Ming li nervously say as she knows the vampire has sharp  ears

" do you still want to go inside? " the vampire asks

" i want to go back to my House. "

" sure. "

" thank you. Do you want something to drink? "

" it is okay, i am going now. " The vampire says as he disappear

Ming li walks up to the untouched bedroom.

" I should sell my house. Should i? "

Ming li says to herself as she receives a phone call

" Hello, may i know who's speaking? "

" Hello ming li, it is your senior, remember? "

" It is senior Ning? "

" Ah, so you remember me? "

" of course! We had such a fun time! Do you want to go out for lunch? "

" outside is a mess! I can't, i'm sorry. "

" It's okay, i can cook for you! "

" Really, then you can come to my house. "

" sure! I will come! "

*beep*

" wow, that was pretty rude. " Ming li mumbles to herself.

After a while

*dingdong! *

The doorbell goes.
Ning Ze Tao appears at the door with  vegetables in one hand and a bouquet of flowers on the other.

" Flowers for you. " Ze Tao says as he hands her the flowers

Ming li lets him inside and he starts cooking with her.

Instead of lunch, they had a candle light dinner due to some problems of cooking.

" My parents want to buy a house, since you are not living in this house, why don't you sell it to me? "

" I have not considered it yet. I need sometime to think about it. "

" Sure, i can wait but can you tell me in 2 weeks time because my parents want to come earlier. "

" sure. "

They have had their dinner and they watched a movie.

" Bye! See you soon. " Ning Ze Tao said as he waved to her

" It was fun! " Ming li says as she closed the door.

" Such a hypocrite! " Ming li says as she flops on to the couch

Ming li receives a phone call.

" If you are willing to sell me the piece of land, i will offer a reasonable price. "

" why do you want to buy my land so much? "

" It is nice. "

" It is pretty old and it is not big at all! "

" My parents will like this cozy place. "

" Okay, i will consider it. "

She walks into her parents room and starts to pack the things that is important in a bag.

" My story time book! " ming li says as she pulls out the book when a folder falls out.

I wonder what it is.

On the folder it wrote 'do not open unless lawyer Wang and Dr Lum is present. '

" Lawyer Wang and Dr lum, Isn't it? "

Ming li picks up her phone and starts to dial Lawyer Wang's number. Let me call tomorrow. Ming li goes to Bed and the next morning comes.

Ming li on the television and her news is all over.

" ming li and Ning Ze Tao, what relationship do they have? " the news reporter says

I stand and look, oh no!

*ding dong*

I had previous called Lawyer Wang and Dr Lum

" welcome In! " I serve them tea

" so, why have you called us? "

I show them the letter and began " i just want to ask about this."

" so you have found out? " Dr Lum asks

" No, it says that i have to have both of you present in order for me to open it. "

Dr lum opens the folder and takes out a 4 page document.

" This is concerned with the land. " Lawyer Wang say

Ming li looks through the document, ' all things including the land will belong to my only daughter when she turns 18 years old.'

" Your parents was supposed to hand this over to you, but... " Dr Lum say

Ming li continues reading through the document 'If my daughter needs money then she can sell the land, the gold under the land will and only belong to Ming li.'

Ming li gasps " That is the reason why he wants it so much! Is it? "
