It was time for Frisk to fight Toriel once more. Behind them, Chara watched in worry. "It would be convenient if you could hear me right now, Frisky. So that i could tell you that you must be a goddamn IDIOT if you don't fight back." Said Chara as they backed off when Toriel started using fire attacks at Frisk. Frisk managed to dodge quite well for a while, but nobody's perfect. Frisk finally got hit, it wasn't enough to kill them, but it was still a lot. Their movements slowed down and they looked worn out. Frisk managed to withstand a few more hits until finally...

Toriel stopped her attacks. She gave up. She couldn't hurt Frisk anymore. She let the child go, but she begged for them not to come back. After a final hug, she left. Frisk smiled in a sense of accomplishment. A victory, without bloodshed. Oh how Chara couldn't understand. They couldn't understand why Frisk would go through all that trouble, just to spare lives. When they themselves, would kill anyone who harmed their little Frisky... IF they had the power to. Frisk stepped outside the gate, with Chara looking out. There they were greeted by Flowey, who had a menacing look on his face.

"Very clever.. so you managed to spare everyone, this time around. But--" Flowey was stopped mid sentence when Frisk suddenly grinned at him. "And i will continue to." They paused for a while and looked down. "I will love them, just like what Chara did to me." Frisk walked past Flowey and opened the gate to the outside, exiting the ruins.

Chara paused, and stayed back with Flowey for a minute. "They.. remember me.." Tears started streaming down their face once more. "Ughh..ahh... w-why couldn't i have still been... alive, right now.." Chara fell to the ground. "That way, i could've p-protected you... Frisky.. i could've talked to you.." Chara cried and screamed out. Unsure wether he could see them or not, Flowey looked at Chara's direction for a while, not saying a word. After Chara picked themselves up, they ran to Frisk who had already gone outside, and gave them a hug. Frisk couldn't possibly have felt it, but they stopped at their tracks and smiled.

A few moments after Chara had let go, Sans came. Unlike what he did to any other of the six humans before them, Sans looked briefly at Chara's direction, and took a few steps back. Fear was seen in his eyes. "Oh. Can you see me?" Chara said with a slight grin. Sans didn't answer, he looked as though he was paralyzed. Frisk noticed someone standing behind them, and turned around. Seeing Sans, they immideately greeted him with a warm smile, and offering a hand shake. Looking at their sweet face, Sans immideately snapped back to reality. He finally came back to his routine, greeting the human with a whoopie cushion on his hand. When Papyrus was in sight, he told Frisk to hide behind a lamp, and they did. Frisk laughed uncontrollably as Sans told his god awful puns. Chara on the other hand, was facepalming the entire time. Chara sat down and leaned against the other side of the lamp. "The comedian has an odd sense of humor." Chara briefly paused and looked at Papyrus, "I kinda like the tall one though, he's nice, plus he has ambition. The first time i met him, we weren't too far apart in age." As Frisk came out of their hiding place, Chara stood up as well. They talked to Sans and roamed around on their own.

Frisk didn't die when encountering the monsters in this area, but they were stupid enough to get to half the health they originally were. Chara couldn't really do a thing about it though, except to scream uncontrollably at Frisk --who couldn't hear them-- everytime they got hit.

Frisk met the skeleton brothers once more, and Papyrus had prepared a HANDFULL of puzzles for them. Frisk loved every-single-one of them. They thought it was fun to do them, even when they failed, miserably. And one puzzle even took more than ten tries to do, which pushed Chara way over the limits. But again, Chara couldn't do anything about it. Not even complain. For Chara, this was like a walk in the park. Too easy. They had been trained to do even the most difficult of puzzles, as the result of living here for ten years.
