I still gotta get back at that girl, Kayla..but how...ugh...

I checked my phone. It was Nicole.

N: -.- Cmon Katelyn , be happy for once . Dante isn't that bad of a guy!

N: ughh...whatever.. Im still not that found  of Travis.. XP

K: whatever..have fun with your "boyfriend"

N: Fine Katelyn. You dont jave to be a jerk about it! >:P

She didn't answer. I flopped down on my bed. Great now my "Best friend" hates me. Could life  get any freaking worse?!
*knock knock*
"Coming!"
I ran downstairs and opened the door.
"Hey Baby~"
Ugh...
"Hey Travis.."
"Can I come in?"
"Sure.."
I let him in and sat down on the couch. He sat next to me.
"How ya been, Hun~?"
"Could be better.."
"Aw..what's wrong?"
"Life"
"Aw.." He hugged me. I stayed quiet, thinking about life..
"Easters coming up~"
"So?"
"Aren't you gonna get together with you family and friends"

A tear slipped from my eye. Travis noticed and looked surprised. He hugged me.
"I-I'm sorry...I shouldn't have brought it up.."
Memories flooded into my head. I felt a few mores tears go down my face. Travis pulled me onto his lap and hugged me. I was too busy remember all those happy memories with my mom and brother to react. I just sat there, silently, a few tears going down my face. I thought of my mom. The fire. My brother, who had escaped without a word. Travis rested his head on my shoulder.
"I'm sorry.." He whispered in my ear.
"I-it's...ok..."
He put my head to his chest, laying his head on top of my head. I felt..

Protected

And...

Loved

More tears. Travis stroked my hair. I didn't care to react right now. More and more memories flooded into my mind. I cried a little more, but not a lot.
"Shhh.." He whispered. "I'm so so sorry.." Travis picked me up, went to my room, and sat down on the bed, with me on his lap. I slowly stopped crying. Travis wiped away a few of my tears with his thumb.
"I'm..really sorry.." He said.
"I-it's ok...just...memories..."
"Oh.."
"Sorry you had to see me like that.." I looked away. He doesn't answer. He simply turns my head back towards him, cupping my chin on his hands. I blush a bit.
"W-what--" A pair of lips meet mine. I feel like pulling away, but then again I don't. I mean we're dating! We eventually part.
"Katelyn."
"Hm?"
"D-do you want to g-go on a date?"
"YES..I mean..uh...sure! Why were you stuttering?"
"I thought you were gonna say no or something.." He looked down. I lift his head up and give him a peck on the cheek. He smirks and turns a bit red.
"S-sorry.."
He hugs me.
"I love you.." He whispers in my ear. I blush a little.
"Love ya too...idiot.." I mumble and giggle.
"Hey!"
"Just saying the truth!"
"Ok...cutie.." He smirks.
"TRAVIS!" I try to punch his arm playfully. He dodges and runs away.
"Hey! Travis!" I chase him. He runs down to the basement and hides. I look around for him.
"Travis..?" I whisper. My basement is honestly really creepy looking. I quietly walk around looking for him.
"T-Travis..?" I whisper again. I hear something move. I look around scared. Why the hell does my basement have to be so creepy?! I continue searching the basement. I heard a weird noise. Ok I'm scared to death right now, but I need to find Travis. He's gonna pay for calling me cutie! Suddenly, two arms wrap around my waist, pulling me onto a lap. I'm scream, terrified. I look up to see Travis.
"T-Travis?!"
"Sorry..did I scare you?"
"YES!" I yell, still really scared.
"Oh..sorry.."
I stayed quiet.
"C-can we go upstairs now?" I whispered.
"Mhm.." Travis picked me up bridal style, and carried me upstairs. He set me down on the couch and sat next to me.
"So..now what?"
"I don't know.." I said, thinking. He tried pulling me onto his lap. I hopped off.
"NOPE"
"Aw..why?"
"Cuz you scared the crap outta me, idiot! -.-"
"Ffffine..."
I sat back down next to him.
"Wanna watch a movie?"
"Ok"
I put on a horror movie, trying to get back at Travis for scaring me, but it kinda backfired. Halfway through the movie, there was a really scary jump scare. I screamed, and buried my face in Travis's chest. He chuckled, and put an arm around me. I wanted to pull away, but I'd probably just get scared again. So I stayed put. The movie finally ended.
"Travis, how did you not get scared?!"
"Eh, I'm not scared easily!" He chuckled. I rolled my eyes.
"You can let go of me now, ya know.."
"But I don't wanna.." He whined. I laughed.
"Hmph!" I squirmed out of his grip and sat next to him. I checked the time. 11:56pm. I yawned and layed my head of Travis's shoulder. He put his arm around me, and pulled me closer. I was to tired to react. I yawned and felt my eyes get heavy. I tried to stay awake, but eventually gave up, and started to fall asleep.
"Good night, cutie." Travis whispered.
"Don't..call..me....that..." I mumbled. Travis chuckled.
"I love you, Hun~"
"Love..ya..too....dummy.." I mumbled. Travis layed his head on top of mine. We were soon both fast asleep..
