[04] surprise!

I have been talking to Nathan for the past few days now, and I found out we have a lot in common. He is sweet, nice, and caring. He is just a great person.

"Kaylaaaaa." Nathan whined.

"Whaaaaaat?" I whined back.

"I haaave a surpriiiise." He said.

"Okaaaay. First let's stop whining and second, tell me your surprise!" I said.

"I made you a YouTube channel!" He screamed out.

"What?!? You did?!? Why?!? How?!?" I asked.

"Just cause I felt like being a nice friend." He said casually.

"Nice? You are the bestest friend ever! I love you!" I said.

Don't worry. We said 'I love you', but it was in a friendly way.

Something felt different this time though. Like it meant something more then just friends. I wanted to expand on it more, but I left my feelings alone.

"Hey! Earth to Kaylaaaa!" Nathan yelled.

"Oh. Just thinking about how good of a friend you are." I smiled.

"Why thanks." Nathan laughed.

I laughed. "You always make me laugh Nathan. I'm glad your my best friend."

"Same here." He said sympathically.

We ended our call on team speak.

I was thinking why did that happen? Why did I feel weird inside when I said, 'I love you'? That's never happened before.

I decided to shrug it off. It was probably because I was hungry.

I really want to meet Nathan, I never have. I have only heard him through a computer screen.

I decided to go to Starbucks because I wanted something to drink.

I walked up to the register to order.

"Can I have a cotton candy frappuccino?" I asked.

"Sure! Coming right up!" The cashier said.

I payed for my drink and looked around for a seat.

I found an empty seat, but someone was on the other side.

He turned around and I couldn't physically believe it.

Just as I went to see who it was, the barista called my name.

"COTTON CANDY FRAPPUCINO FOR KAYLA!" she screamed.

"Oh, better go get that." I said and walked to get it.

I got it and went back to that seat, but the person on the other side was gone. Shoot. I should've talked to him. I could've made another friend.
