Rooming With the Jerk

Chapter 5

(Logan has already made the bed in the living room. Chinese food just arrived.

**Blake's POV**

"Chinese food's here!" I call shutting the door with my foot.

"Yes!" Logan shouted.

Aw. He's so cute. Wait. What? No. No. No. No. I swear, If I fall for him, all that I'm going to end up with is a broken heart. I CAN NOT and WILL NOT start liking him. But damn is he hot. I sat down on the bed beside karsten and opened up a few trays of chinese food.

"So tell me about yourself." Logan said.

"Well, I'm here because my parents say I need discipline and shit and I'm apart of the dance programe-- err, I will be. What about you?"

"Born and raise right her in San Fran. Parents are divorce. Mom didn't want me living with my dad, dad didn't want me living with my mom. So they threw me here."

"Ahhh. What are you going to try to study for?"

"Aghhhh. I dont know.I'd rather wait until I get to college to decide what to study. But I'm thinkin the medical field."

"You--" I was interupted by my phone ringing in the kitchen."

"Hello?" I said.

"Hey! Hon! How's everything going? Did you make friends with your roommate? Is she nice? Did you get settled in and ever--"

"MOM! Let me answer!"

"Okay! Then answer!"

"Uhh. I-I guess you we've made friends. But.. It's not-- Uh It's not a girl.." I say glancing at Logan who was know smirking and starting to laugh.

"What do you mean it's not a girl?"

"Well, It's not a girl." I say awkwardly.

"Do you mean It's a boy? USE PROTECTION! DEAR GOD BLAKE."

"MOM! Stop! I'm not -ya know." I looked back at Logan and he was flittering his eyebrows up and down. Probably because he heard my mom

"Okay hon. Well we'll be there tomorrow around 5:00"

"Kay. Bye love ya."

''If I'm correct, your mom told you to use protection?'' Logan says as I walk back to where he was.

"Yeah.. She's.. She's my mom." I say rolling my eye's

"Well i love her already!"

''yah yah." I say getting under the covers.

"Imma watch some American horror story."

"Ew."

"What?"

''That's the creepiest, scariest show ever"

He turned the TV on and flipped through channels until he found American horror story. Five minutes in, I was already super paranoid and scared so I kept my eyes closed and dozed off a bit.

"Blake?" I heard Logan say as I dozed in and out of a light sleep. I didn't respond. I was super scared of the show and I could here people screaming and It scared me even more so I took this oppurtunity to do something pretty daring. I rolled over, my eyes still closed and ended up right next to Logan. I put my head on his chest and partly nuzzled in his neck. After a second, He moved his hand and placed it around my shoulders to hold me.

"I know your not asleep." He whispered.

I paused for a second as if to show that I was,

"I don't care. You're comfty and I'm scared." I admitted whispering back.

"Want me to change it?" He asked symphathetically.

I thought about it for a second because he might change it to something not scary and we might not have to cuddle any more. But I wanted to. He smelled like mint and soap and I felt safe in his strong arms.

"As long as you don't let go of me." I say looking up at him.

"Why." He said obviously smiling

"Because I don't want you to" I say closing my eyes again

"Why!" He said again

"Because I'm scared,"I say silently

"So why didn't you just ask me to change it?" He says prying at me.

"Your making this hard." I said as the actors on the tv shrieked in terror

"What!" He says squeezing me with his arm a little

"Aghhhhh"

"You--" He said stopping

"I what?!"

''I'm starting to think you have a small crush on me."

"How DARE you assume such things!" I laughed a little. My eyes still closed.

"You know im right!"

"Ah. Fine. It's just a SMALL crush. So don't get your hopes up."

"Alright! Alright!"

"Now change it!" I say grabbing a fist of his shirt and pushing myself into his chest. I felt him tighten his grip on me and heard him change the channel to something that sounded like 'Friends'. Logan said something but I was already falling into a deep sleep so I didn't understand him.
