Lily's Poise

Strong and Tall
The lily stands,
Towering over all beneath.
It watches the light of each day,
Simply fade away.

Bold and Daring
Flaunting colors,
The lily stands,
Not caring of others opinions,
It shows its true self.

Fragile and Weak
A side under the pressure,
Of a well placed shoe,
The lily cracks under pressure,
But it will grow back.

Shy and Anxious
The lily hears,
Those whispers on the wind.
But wind can't knock it over.
And neither can whispers.

Be a Lily
Strong and Tall,
Bold and Daring,
But don't lose yourself,
You WILL grow back,
Like the lily.
