Chapter 15: The queen of what!

As soon as I had kissed him I regretted it, I had my head down looking at the bits of decaying leaf covering the ground. I felt so ashamed flame and thorn looked at me with wide eyes looking for an answer for so many questions. "We're are u keeping me friends?" I said warily still looking down "oh them I thought you would've forgotten all about them by now" he said with a silky tone in his voice. I Slowly looked up to see where he was and he was gone. I panicked and looked around frantically trying to get a glimpse of him between the worn down trees. He was gone... I should've been relieved but I wasn't I was scared terrified even. "Shit thorn were'd he go" I asked he just looked at me and shook his giant head I walked over to him and ran my fingers through his soft golden feathers flame looked at me with worried eyes.

I looked up at the sky the clouds were dark and it looked like it was gonna rain, "Annabelle if you can here me now I need your guidance more than ever, my friends are gone the were taking by the demon I have to save them!" I said as loud as I can at the top of my voice. My call was answer by a clash of thunder and the pouring down of rain "come on thorn lets get out of here" I said as I swung my leg over his back and held of tightly to the saddle he easily lifted us off the ground with his  great wings. Flame followed us and we stayed as low as we could with out touching the tops of the trees the storm growled above us. I glanced over to flame she was gliding effortlessly thorn was having trouble staying steady, the wind was pushing us this way and that we had to land soon before we crashed. I saw the hut below us I started to cry "there gone" I whispered thorn cooed trying to reassure me and landed.

"Thorn what are you doing" a bit of nervousness entered my voice this time I actually got a proper look at the place it was all wrecked the walls were coming apart the roof was torn off the ground was burnt and scratched. "Well they put up a good fight" I said as I watched thorn wandering around the area I heard the sound of wing beats there were three earth dragons above me circling the light was reflecting off their green scales thorn an flame formed a protective circle around me. Flame set herself on fire and screeched a warning thorns muscles started to tense I pulled out my swords and they started glowing, filling my arms with energy I got into a battle stance. The three majestic dragons landed surrounding me, thorn and flame. I looked at the biggest one the male he was old his scales faded but still strong and could easily harm us I saw a large scar across his face from fighting a demon "guys they mean us no harm" I said as I slowly put down my swords.

I bowed to the great dragon he was and elder and needed respect, flame and thorn followed my actions. I slowly stood up his Amber eyes focused on me he spoke "young princess" he bowed I looked at the others they all did "I'm sorry what are you talking about?" I asked "I was sent by the lady of the unicorn to guide you we are at your service my queen" the elder said. I knew he was being serious cause I had asked her for her help. "What is your name brethren" a softness in my voice, this title honoured him "my name is Tantour I have with me milieus and starlight". "It is nice to meet you Tantour" I said looking up to the sky thanking Annabelle in my head. "I have one question how am I you queen?" I said treading lightly with this question assuming they had just lost there queen. "Your mother was the queen of dragons, that's why she was hunted down and killed by the demons. The demons are power hungry and wanted to command the dragons but they couldn't because your still alive". He said his voice stiff and full of sorrow.

"I don't remember much about my mother" I said sadly. "She was a great warrior just like you have become" said Tantour proudly. "Come with us you must be crowned queen of dragons properly only then will you be able to command the dragons".
