Irene's POV

My name is Bae Joohyun. You can call me Irene. I'm a loner in this world. No friends. No parents, because they're in States for almost 10 years. I think they'll never come back. But I have a cousin, named IU. She's the one who always supporting me since the start and we're very close...I'm very glad that she always stay by my side no matter what happens and she didn't live in my house though. She lives in a few blocks away from mine. But nahh, it was totally fine to me. For me, this place was full of crimes, many bloods scattered on the ground, there's many vampires, wolves, and werewolves, especially demons live in this kind of place. So, I really want to go to another place and live happily there because this place is like a hell to me. Urgh, 'what a selfish world, a selfish succeed'

*KNOCK* *KNOCK* *KNOCK*

"IU?" I called, "Yeah it's me, open the door." She respond, I opened the door and let her come inside.

"Did your hear the news today?" She asked and sat down on the sofa

"No, what about?" I raised my eyebrow

"Um, there's another dead woman found under the bridge this morning. The police says that she's bitten by a vampire." She said, "Why does this place is so, you know like 'hell'?".

"Again? Haha, poor her. By the way, wanna go shopping?" I asked, ignoring her question

"Sorry, because I have something to do w/ my parents." She said, "Family business?" She nod and bid goodbye to me, then head outside.

I spend the morning and afternoon by doing nothing. It's already evening, I went outside to take a walk into the woods. I feel so free but a bit scared because it's so dark in here. Oh gosh, I don't see anything. Just calm down Irene. You'll be fine.

*Wolves Growling*

Wait, what's that sound?

I turned around and saw a pack of wolves. Their eyes is so red and I'm surrounded by them. Oh god, please. Help me. My heart beats so fast and I'm freaking nervous right now.

One wolf, keep getting near at me and I step backward.

All I can do is run and hide, I think. So, I run as fast as I could and they're now chasing at me. Great!

I almost trip on a rock but someone hold my hand and wrap his arm on my waist. Our faces is only inch apart and I blush when I saw his face...♡____♡

He has a Red Eyes and a bloody mouth. Wait, is he a- Oh my god, there's a vampire in front of me..O____O What should I do? What if he drinks my blood? Urgh, just relaxx Irene.....

But he freaking saved me from those wolves. Should I thank him?

"W-Who a..are y-y-ou?" I asked while my hands and feet are trembling in fear

He wiped the blood on his mouth and stare at me for 5 seconds.

"I'm your Protector." He answered and smiled, then he was gone after I blinked. 'Weird'

I went home, thinking of him. You know, the vampire who save me from the wolves. But I'm still confuse about what he said to me earlier.....

My Protector?

Really?

I wish I could see him again. I'm a bit sad because I don't even say thank you and know his name. Stupid me!? Um, maybe next time. If we meet again.

Someone's POV

"Where did you went?" My father asked

"Woods." I replied shortly

"Oh! Find another victims again." He smirked

"I'm not like you Dad, finding some victims and drink their blood." I chuckled

"You're a pure vampire, son. And you should be like me." He patted my back, "I'll try." I smile. "You should do it my son, because it's for your own good." I nod.

I sighed.

I wish I could meet you again, mystery girl.

Even if I'm a vampire and you're a human. I'll sacrifice myself for you to be safe forever.
