"But-but, that can't be right. If I summon a basilisk, won't it destroy me as well?"
"No, what I said, will eventually come true."
"But the chant-"
"Woah, woah, woah, hold your horses here. What chant?" Ron asked.
I forgot he hadn't witnessed any of the 'I'm going to summon a basilisk with this chant to kill eveyone'.
"Sorry Ron. Long story short, Harry turned evil and he spoke a chant that has summoned a basilisk family," Hermione stated.
"What? Harry turned evil?"
"Yep, looks that way," I sighed.
"Don't worry Harry, we will fix everything," she reassured.
"So I'm taking you told her about Luna?" Ron assumed.
"What about Luna?" she demanded.
"Well..." I started.
"She got taken by Ginny who has been cursed by Harry's father's book which we are trying to find," Ron said quickly.
"What?" Hermione stood there, her mouth agape.
"Yeah, that about sums it up, I guess," I scratched my head.
"Okay then," she frowned.
"We have to find my father's book to break the curse on Ginny. By the way, if you see her with red eyes and black hair, that's all part of the curse."
"Hang on, what's the book called? I think I vaguely remember something about James Potter."
"Old Spells for Time Travel, I know right, it's so old!" Ron chuckled.
"Yes! I know where it is, I did some research on that book a few years ago. When I looked it up it said that the book would teleport every twenty four hours. It will only appear to it's original owner if they collect the correct items. A Deluminator, Remembrall, Snitch, Time-Turner, Planet-Pocket Watch, Beaters Bat and Clankers."
"We can get these items. Ron, do you still have the Deluminator?" I said happily.
"Of course! Dumbledore gave it to me in his will, you think I would get rid of something like that?" he scoffed.
"Then that's one item down! We can do this."
"Okay then, Remembrall. Didn't Neville use to have one?" Hermione wondered.
"Yeah but didn't he lose it or something? Let's go ask him," I decided.
"Okay, I'll go get my Deluminator," Ron agreed.
"I'll try and track down a Time-Turner. I'm pretty sure Professor McGonagall will have one," she smiled as we went our separate ways.
I walked to the Gryffindor home room, thinking Neville would be there. But when I checked inside, he wasn't. So I went to his room, he wasn't there either. I finally decided he might be watching the Quidditch practice. Oh, I should be doing Quidditch practice, I remembered. With everything going on, I totally forgot the Quidditch auditions were yesterday. Looks like I won't be playing this year, I sighed. I ran outside, my eyes looking wildly around trying to spot Neville.
"Neville, Neville, come here!" I called out.
Neville's eyes swivelled towards me. I heard him gasp, then scramble off his seat over to me.
"Harry," he puffed, "What are you doing here?
"What happened to your Remembrall?"
"My Remembrall? What's that?" he asked, not a clue what I'm talking about.
"You know, that ball. When you forgot something it would turn red," I said, trying to jog his memory.
"Oh that old thing," he realised, "I lost that ages ago."
My face fell, "I kind of need it at the moment. Do you know whereabouts you lost it?"
"Oh! Have you forgotten something? I think I left it around Gryffindor Tower or something. I have to go, I'm trying out for the Quidditch this year. I'm so excited! It's my turn to play, good luck!" he called back as he ran off towards the field.
I sighed and made my way back to the Gryffindor Tower. About ten minutes later I finally arrived. I searched high and low but I couldn't find anything. I eventually gave up and turned back to my room for a rest. I lied on my bed peacefully, thinking about what life would be without dark magic and evil wizards. I eventually drifted off to sleep and it was then, I had the most peculiar dream...-Flashback-
"Harry, good to see you! I'm here for Quidditch Practice!" Neville exclaimed.
"Cool, but first, you need to put that red ball in your hands away."
"Sure thing," he said and ran off towards Gryffindor Tower.
"Okay team," I turned to face them. "We want to win this Quidditch march against Slytherin. It's the last game of the year and we want to prove to all the other houses Gryffindor lives up to it's name. Are you with me?"
"Yeah!" everyone shouted and screamed in unison.
I turned my head ever so slightly and saw Neville out of the corner of my eye, running towards me with a broomstick in his hand.
"Hey Neville, are you ready to play?" I asked
"Of course!"
"Cool, may I just ask, where you put that red ball from before?"
"It's under the large couch in the Gryffindor Common Room," Neville replied.
"Okay thanks," I said as I started a practice game.
After everything was sorted and the rest of the team were playing their practice game, I quickly ran unnoticed to the Gryffindor Common Room and looked under the large couch.
-Flashback Ended-
I bolted upright, waking up from my dream. I gasped, that dream had told me something. Something important. I wracked my brain for the information I needed. Neville's Remembrall is in the Gryffindor Common Room under that big couch, I thought. I jumped out of bed and ran as fast as I could to the Gryffindor Common Room. When I arrived, I peeked under the couch.
A bright red ball was glowing before my eyes.
