The Virtuous

        It's Monday and everyone is busy. I was walking through the elegant hallway when Sir Gilbert calls me.

"Lance, I have a job for you."

"Yes, sir?"

"Here." He gave me a piece of paper.

"What's this?"

"A list, isn't it obvious?"

"Ah. Yeah, but what am I going to do with this?"

"Go get it. The kingdom ordered few boxes of green apple wine, you just going to fetch it."

"Ok?" Alone?

"The carriage is ready. Get going!"

"Y-yes Sir."

I wear my black coat and hat then headed toward the carriage. I didn't even say goodbye to the princess, I hope she won't look for me.

I passed the gate of city and few minutes ago I reached the countryside. Here come most of the fruits and vegetables to the city. Time passed all I can see is the meadow and a river.

"It says, follow the river. Damn I can't see any town here?"

I murmured while reading the list. I went down to the carriage and walked toward a small flower field near the forest. The wind blows my hat and landed in the middle of the flowers.

"Oh crap!"

I tried to fallow the hat but stopped when I suddenly realized the girl sitting on the flower field. She got long brunette hair, dark eyes and red lips. She's wearing a white dress.

"I'm s-sorry, that's mine."

"I know mister. I've been waiting for you."

"w-what? Are you a fairy?!"

She laugh so kind and innocently.

"No. I'm here to guide you to the Green town, the elder asked me to."

"Oh, right. Sorry."

My face flushed red as a tomato due to the embarrassment. We rode the carriage and she guided me inside the forest. Few minutes later we reached the town. It is literally Green. The color of the buildings is green which blends to the color of the forest. No wonder it's hard to find.

"Uncle, he's here."

She announced to the old man.

"Ah! You must come from the Palace. We are so gland the princess is fond of our wine."

I smiled. I actually like it too. We're the same after all.

"I will bring our finest wines, just a minute. Irene, why don't you give him something to eat?"

"Yes uncle."

He left and the girl led me to a house. It is pretty. Different flowers are everywhere but what caught my attention is...

"These are rare Blue Roses."

I said. She put down a cup of coffee and a plate of cookies.

"Yes, you are quite knowledgeable. "

"They can only found in the blue kingdom, where did you get these?"

She smiled, again with those kind and innocent. That smile can actually light up a whole world. She's so beautiful.
