You're the fugitive and I am now the princess. We're a lamentable pair of twins separated by our fates. For the sake of protecting you, I shall even become evil too.

They put me into the jail. Everyone of the citizen is celebrating for their announced victory. I looked outside the window as I waited for the time they will execute me. The image of my sister smiling flashed before my eyes. Her smile when she say thank you to me. Her smile when she sees the man she loved. Her smile whenever I tell her a joke. Her smile when she eats her favorite sweets. I will miss them.

I'm sorry, Laeticia, I won't be with you now. I hope you'll smile and laugh forever. If they must call you an evil then I am too for we share the same blood. Even if the entire world becomes your enemy, I will always protect you so you could just be yourself and smile.

Tears fell down from my face. Fate indeed was unfair. It separated us for 11 years and for a year that I met her again, she didn't remember me. The trauma the king gave her must be the reason she chose to forget her real identity. It is so unfair, after a year of being together now the fate wants to separate us again. Why it must be us? Why can't we live as normal twins? Why Laeticia have to cry every single time? Why everyone hates her? Why she needs to be killed? Screw that fate! I reject fate. Irene was wrong. I didn't forget to smile. I was unaware of it myself but whenever my sister smiles I'm smiling back. I was like her mirror. Everything she felt was reflected on me. She smiles, I smile. She laughs, I laugh. She grieves, I grieve. It's always the same between us.

Fate was unfair for the lonesome King Accel of yellow Kingdom to live his life scared of the war, if he only has those people who love him and guide him, everything wouldn't end up like this. It was unfair for Irene to die because of the princess's envy although she is innocent and a virtuous person. I maybe love her but the love I have for my sister is incomparable. It was unfair for the Blue prince who's anguishing for the girl she loves and let the wrath controlled him. It was unfair for me and my sister to live a life like this. If only my parents didn't get divorced we may be living a peaceful life now. But I just realized fate wasn't unfair at all. We might think fate was unfair to us, but the truth is it is fair on giving us trials and misfortunes. It was us who needs to learn how to fight against it. If we accept life the way it is we are neglecting the fact that we can live a life we wanted and disregard our fates. So now I am defying my fate and my sister's fate. If this is the only way I could save and free her in her heartbreaking destiny. I will do it. I will sacrifice myself. I know someday she will find her own happiness. I love you Laeticia, please live a happy life.

The time finally came as the Church's bell signalled the end, the same church's bell who signalled our bond, the same church who blessed us. The populace gather around to witness my execution.

"You know, you kind of looked like someone I know."

I was startled when Neville's cold voice spoke at the other side of the chamber. He's leaning at the wall while his hands are crossed around his chest. I glared at him. Since when he been there?

"Yes! That look! The way you glare at me Princess is so similar to his."

Everything he says are senseless. I don't understand him. As far as I remember this is the first time we met. And as for the Princess, they actually never met.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Oh! Doesn't matter. You'll going to die anyway."

He declared with a smirk. This jerk! He opened the jail cell.

"It's time princess. Aren't you excited? This is your big day!...and probably the last." He laughs.

"Ha..ha..ha." I laugh sarcastically.

"What's the matter?"

He lends his hand acting like her wants to help me out of the cell.

"Want me to help you go to your guillotine throne? You quite have a lot of audience. Go on they're waiting."

He continued, still mocking me. I really want to punch him even just one. I really want to give him a big hit on the face.

"I can walk myself."

I said ignoring his hand.

"Hmmm, go well with yourself."

He walked ahead while the other guards are behind me. I can hear the cheers and screams of the people.

"C'mon! I already fell in love with those glares, mind if you stop?"

Neville looked back at me. I was unaware I was glaring at him. Well maybe because I was killing him inside my mind. He slightly pushed me ahead of the door. The shout of people became louder as they saw me.

"It's such a Pity to waste a beauty like you, isn't it?" He said.

"Then why not help me escape, knight?" I asked mocking him back.

"Would love to, but the Blue Prince wants you dead. So my lady... On your throne."

He somewhat bowed his head and pointed the huge guillotine few meters away from me. I wish this idiot would shut up for a while. He got a big mouth. The loud yells of these people is already enough to deafen me.

They immediately placed me on the guillotine. My hands are cuffed unable to move. I can never escape. So this is it huh? I closed my eyes and bowed my head. I'm ready. Among the noise of the crowd and the merciless words they're shouting I heard my name.

"Lancelot."

I looked up and saw Princess Alice, No.. She's Laeticia wearing her cloak in the middle of crowd. She moved forward until she's on the first line of people. Tears almost fell into my eyes.

She remembered me.

She was holding her necklace. I was glad I slipped it in my clothes for her to see. It must be one of the reason she remembered me.

My eyes stuck only to hers. Who cares with the eyes of these people who don't understand my beloved sister? She's not a villain, she's also a victim. I am happy that the last thing I will see is her face.

"Lancelot, Thank you for everything...."

She paused. I know she wanted to cry but please no. With all of last thing I will ever see I don't want it to be her crying and sad face.

"I love you."

She muttered. My eyes widen as I see the sight in front of me. My heart flutters with the words she uttered only for me. She smiled. The best smile I ever saw in my entire life. The smile I've been longing for, I've been dying for. I finally see it. I made her smile. I could die happily now. I found what I've been looking for. I smiled at her and murmured her favorite lines.

"It's snack time."

Neville signalled to drop the blade.
