Freshman Year
Lola POV

I watched as Jace ate across the lunch room and sighed happily. He's so cute and I love him so much!

Well.....I think? Oh who knows......his green eyes shot up looking directly at me. I quickly looked down and Jasmine (his twin sister) looked at me as I ate my food.

"Staring at my brother again?" She asked nudging my side.

"N-nah" I said pushing my tray away. Those bright Green eyes.....so pretty.

"Hey! My eyes are Green too" Jasmine whined. "I said that out loud?" I asked.

"No. But now I know who ya thinking about" she smirked flipping her long brown hair.

I frowned and turned to see him with his current girlfriend Teresa.

"Ugh He's a freshman and already a man whore. I looked away enviously and stood up.

"Hey what's wrong" Jasmine asked as j walked out the cafeteria.

She looked back.

"Oh" she whispered.

"Hey listen Lola.........." She said sitting beside me against the lockers.

"My brother.... He is the most rudest ugliest -"

I burst out laughing and she laughed too.

"I so though you were gonna say nice things" I laughed harder holding my stomach.

The bell rang and we sat there my head on her shoulder.

"I kinda hate him now" I sighed.

Right on Que him and Teresa walked out holding hands and he looked at Jasmine.

"Hey.....tell mom I'm out with the guys if I don't turn up okay?" He asked her. She scoffed rolling her eyes. He glanced at me for a second before walking away.

My heart was beating so fast and I'm sure my face was red.

"You so need a boyfriend" Jasmine sighed.

"Nah" I sighed.

"I have a boyfriend of two years" she said crossing her arms.

"Congrats I know this" I snapped standing up. She pulled me in her arms and I held in my tears.

"You've liked him forever girl. Since like 3rd grade...." She said.

"I think it's time to move on" she sighed walking away.

I don't know..........maybe it really is time to move on.....

I sighed looking into space and felt a pair of eyes on me. I looked around slowly and met dark brown eyes.

"Um hello" I said weirded out.

A tall guy stepped out and smiled politely at me.

"I apologize for staring. I was admiring your beauty" he said bowing. He's from Australia?

"Aussie?" I asked. He nodded.

"Thanks by the way" I smiled.

"My names Ander" he said holding out his hand and taking a step toward me.

I smiled shaking his hand. "I'm Lola" I said. He brought my hand up and softly kissed the top.

"Lovely meeting a beauty like you." He smiled.

"It was nice m-meeting you" I said shyly.

"I'd love to talk sometime" he said pulling out his phone. I shrugged pulling out mine and we swapped.
