Riley ran up a hill and over a bridge. He jumped off a cliff over to the other side. He was sweating and teary. Scout and Lily followed him. He hid in a cave and put his paws over his head. Scout and Lily padded in and watched him. Riley whispered. "Make it stop.....please..." He closed his eyes still hearing the gun shots and yelling from a bit earlier. A trail of tears trickled out of his eyes. Scout looked at her paws. "Maybe we should go..." She hesitated. Lily nodded and the two walked away.
