Riley beat against the cage and he growled, "I NEED IT!" Thorn scowled, "Shut up you pipsqueak!" Star looked at Thorn and flicked her tail, "Now, now Thorn. Don't get all wound up! He's just a kid." Thorn murmured a few bad things about Riley and turned back his head, "Anything for my sweetie." He smiled. Star beat against her cage but couldn't get out, "I hate this struggle!" She said ignoring him. Riley growled, 'I can't believe Star is Thorns mate, who would want to be with that trash bag!?' He thought. Riley turned around seeing a door handle. It was always dark outside of the room he was in. "Lights out!" A voice cracked.  The room he was in was luckily always dim, so there wasn't too much darkness, and there wasn't too much light. The dogs lay down, all besides Star. Riley looked up, "You goin' to bed?" Star sighed looking up at the ceiling, "In a bit." Riley shrugged and laid down. He soon fell asleep, and he was in a dream. He was running around a farm, chasing Scout and Lily, who hasn't been seen in weeks. Dark clouds rolled over, and the closer he got to them, the farther they appeared. Riley looked up and thick, smoke like air rolled through.....no where to go. All darkness...
