Chapter Six

Stein

That little zombie began to grow its bones cracking in and out of place until suddenly that little shriek turned into a eardrum bursting roar. I turned back away from our "rescuer" to see what ultimately looked like the fucking hulk barreling towards us I grabbed Star and pulled her running into an alley my first instinct was to get to higher ground, but it was hard as this Hulker was gaining on us and fast. We began to climb a fire escape as it smashed into the alley way. We sprinted up the steps both our hearts racing. Suddenly, the fire escape began to lower and I looked down to see the Hulker smashing the lower sections of the escape out from under us. We neared the top but the sections were falling faster and faster I couldn't tell if we were going to get up in time to not be Hulk Chow, so I did what I had to I grabbed Star by her stomach and threw her she grabbed onto the ledge as the section we were on began to fall with me on it. Jumped off trying my best to make sure I didn't get anywhere near big boys mouth. I smashed through a window of the next building over and rolled into an apartment. "Hahaha Fuck yah" I said, but my celebration was short lived as the wall of the apartment below me was hit but not knocked out at least not yet, the floor below me shook and I struggled to keep on my feet, but managed to do so. I ran out the door of the room to the staircase of which I hopped the railing and landed on the ground floor so I could lead it away from Star and him, if he could almost knock out that wall with one punch I'd hate to see what he could do to a wall when he had some room to move. I ran out into the streets shouting "Hey you big ugly predator looking motherfucker!" it turned and began barreling at me I fired the rifle I had brought a lever action counting the shots "1, 2, 3, 4," I was half way empty as he grew near then suddenly I heard a shout "HEY!" and saw that guy throw a propane tank down at the Hulker and it caught it, it fucking caught it holding it while it ran. I aimed I had one shot before he would be on my ass like condoms on a highschool seniors party. "Smile" I quoted jaws, and fired and Booooooom!
I flew back and hit the windshield of a car caving it in. "Oh fuck" I groaned, rolling off the hood of the car and hitting the ground "that was awesome" I stumbled onto my hands and knees opening my eyes looking around to make sure Star was okay. I spotted her sliding down a drainpipe to rush over to me. "Holy shit Stein are you okay?" She held out her hand, I took it and she threw me up I staggered for a second but got me balance "Yah but don't judge if I get a bit of a fear boner" I said jokingly as I walked up to the blown up and burning corpse of the Hulker. I kicked the body around the ribcage "Don't like me when I'm angry do you bitch!" I shouted, triumphantly and then I smelt smoke "Sterling" Star said, "You're on fire" I threw off my jacket and began to beat it against the zombie corpse spitting every curse word in my vocabulary "Shit, fuck, ass, damn, fucking, piece of bitch" then up came the guy holding a bag out to me "Deals a deal" he said, I popped my back and then shrugged off his hand "No need you saved my life" I told him, he lowered his hand "plus you won't need to dibby it up when you're living with us" he paused confused and surprised "Wait what?" He asked, I smiled and laughed at his confusion "look man" I told him "You obviously don't have a camp" I said " and you did save my life and not try to rape my sister so... what do you say man?" He stood there thinking for a few seconds then he spoke "I say my name's Grey and I'm in" he held out his hand and I shook it smiling.
