Grey
I followed the two to the Shelter. It was massive. During the first month of the outbreak, the virus went airborne and infected everyone that has gone into the shelters. I guess they found this one a little after, cause they seem to know the place very well. "Welcome ladies and- I mean gent" Stein said typing in the code. The garage sized door slid open reveling a living space large enough for 40 people. "First things first." He said. "Gotta put all the supplies up." He motioned me to follow him. "The mess hall" he said. He walked me into a small kitchen and dining room. We put the foods that we had on the trip and organized them in the cabinets. "Peaches and beans for months." I chuckled. He tapped my shoulder and motioned me to follow him again. "The chop shop!" I looked at him confused for a second, "The armory" he said mumbling afterword about how every time he tries to give something a cool nickname people always turn it down. Then, he typed in another code on a wall, this door opened much faster. Inside were at least 15 or so other guns, multiple knives and not that much ammo. We spent another hour placing guns and loading clips. As I was about to walk out he stopped me. "Wait. You have to leave that here." He pointed to my gun. I thought for a second. "Yea I don't think that's gonna happen. Sorry." I replied, he frowned and then said, "No isn't a option if want to stay here." He reached out his hand. I hesitated before removing the holster and my belt that was attached to it, I handed it to him. "Thanks. Don't worry, it'll be right here." We walked out. After showing me the generator room, the bedrooms and the room where all the shit and piss go, he showed me the living room. "This is just our hangout area." He said smiling and turning on a small speaker. Old 80'smusic began to play. He started singing in a high pitched voice while dancing and air guitaring. His sister came out of nowhere and joined in. "Come on!" She said pulling me in. I hesitated, I barley knew these people and yet they were surprisingly kind. We spent the next two hours listening to 80's music. And it was great.
