Jenna's POV

so yesterday when we left the arena i texted my brother to tell him i was alternate captain and he said he was really proud of me then i texted Dylan to tell him that connor and i were althernate captains and he said congrats

today we have a pre-game against Sweden it was the only pre-game we had till we really started after Christmas

"okay you ready to leave" sam asked me

"yes" I said

"why the hell are you wearing a dress in this weather" josh asked me

"you guys were a suit I wear a dress" I told him

"make since sorry never had a girl on my team before" josh said as we left to go on the bus

when we got on the bus I sat next to jake

"so how does it feel being name alternate Captain" he asked me

"great" I told him

after a couple of minutes we finally arrived at the arena

*arena*

we got in the arena and went in the locker room

when we got dress and coach gave us a talk we went on the ice for warm-ups

after the warm-ups we went back in the locker room and Curtis gave us a talk after that it was time to go on the ice

the first period

max and Anthony has scored goal I had an assist

the second period

I scored a goal and so did the other team

third period

no one scored a goal so we won

"you guys did a good job keep it like that when the primary games start and we'll make it far" coach said

We all got all our gear off and went on the bus

we were all hungry so we went at a restaurant

we were going to a fancy restaurant so it was a good thing we were dress for it

when we were done ordering I got a phone call so I answered

me- hello

?- hey jen

me- who's this (the guys were looking at me confused)

?- i'm shock you don't remember me

me- oh god what do you want (I ask angry when I realized who it was)

?- I don't think that how you should talk to your best friend

me- well your not so I think I can talk to you the way I want

?- look I'm sorry for what I did, but I need a favor , i'm in jail and I kinda need money so can you please help me out

me- no if you think I'm going to help you, your out of your mind

?- please I really need your help

me- well asked someone who cares

end of convo

after that call the guys were looking at me weirdly

"wow your mean why don't you want to help someone" Anthony asked

"trust me if you knew who I was talking to you would have said the same thing" I told him

"well who were you talking to" he asked and the others were listening

" an old friend" I told him

"why don't you want to help a friend" Zach asked

"i said old friend, I haven't talk to her since I was drafted in the OHL" I told them

"why haven't you talked to her since then" some of the guys asked

"because she did something that I would never forgive her for and come on, if your friend called you saying she need money would you gave her money" I asked them

"well I mean it depends why they need it" Zach said

"well in my case you probably wouldn't " I told him

"why does she need it" Max asked and I toke a deep breath

"she need it to get out of jail" I said and there eyes became big

"why the hell is she in jail" Anthony asked

"i don't know probably got caught with drugs or probably got caught stealing something" I told them as we got are food

"why in the world would you be friends with someone like that" Anthony asked

" I told you she's an old friend, i'm not friends with her anymore" I told him

"so she does drugs" the guys asked me

" yeah she has since she was like 11 and she's the only one in her family like that, her parents kicked her out" I told them

"damm " the guys said

"yeah I still talk to her family but I don't talk to her" I told them

"awh" they said

after we were done eating we went back to the hotel
