A girl with a talent needs a bit of money, so she puts an ad in her local newspaper for a Wedding/Party singer. She got a few gigs and everyone enjoyed it, she could sing, brilliantly.
One day she gets a call from an unknown number, answering it due to work reasons she is met with an Irish voice that sounds particularily familiar.
''Hello, is this Allie Baker?" He seemed stressed.
"Yes" She answered.
"Well, the band we hired for my brother's wedding has bailed on us, the main singer's got tonislitis, and our next door neighbour's said they used you for their son's birthday, we was wondering if you'd be available for March 27th?" He quickly spoke.
"That's in two days!" She realized "How will I get a set list of your choice by then, or a band to play for me?"
"I can get you the band, they already know the songs we want played, and you probably know them already" He explained, sounding kind of pissed off now.
"Well, I guess, as long as I can sing some of my own songs" She said "A compromise for the late booking"
"Ugh, fine but you better be good" It sounded like the phone call was coming to an end "Well, if that's it, I will email you the rest of the details now" He said as Allie's laptop beeped "There sent, okay, thank you Allie Baker" She could almost swear she heard a smile on his lips.
"Thank you for your business, Mr---" She waited for his answer.
"Horan, I'm the best man" He quickly said "See you in two days, god you better be good.. Bye" And the line went dead. Horan, she was sure he'd heard that name, she tried to ignore it and read the email instead. She clicked it open.
