Once we got to the huge hall, we were both ready for drinks. I unbuckled myself and Niall opened my door for me, once again. I smiled at him and took his hand as I climbed down. There were no fans here, which was helpful in the whole, walking aspect of things.
''You ready for your performance later?'' Niall asked kindly and I nodded.
''Yeah, always ready for singing, bro!" I smiled widely and he chuckled. He put his hand out for me to hold, oh yeah forgot about the whole girlfriend thing, I took it gladly and we walked into the venue. People's heads turned when they heard others greeting Niall, he was well known through out his family, well he was well known through out the world.
''Come on, let's go get some food'' He smirked, pulling me into the door labelled Kitchen. I protested but he just shushed me and weaved us round the metal counters and many ovens and hot plates ''Chris!?''
''Niall, is that you, buddy?" Someone replied, with a thicker accent than Niall's. A man with no hair, alot of tattoos and a huge build appeared round the corner with a huge smile ''Jesus it is!'' He approached us, wrapping Niall in what looked like a bone crushing hug.
''The one and only!" Niall nodded, then remembered me standing there awkwardly "Oh Chris, this is my girlfriend, she's gonna be singing tonight, come out and see her.'' His arm wrapped round my waist almost protectively.
''Oh, I definitely will, I'm Chris by the way.'' His huge hand went out to shake mine.
''I'm Allie,'' I took it and was met with the clammy palm. ''Yeah totally, I'll be singing around 6ish and onward." He just nodded and smiled, he seemed kind for someone with such a scary posterior.
''Well, we better be off, but do you have anything we can eat for the speech's?'' Niall smirked. Chris just let out a boom of a laugh and nodded, disappearing and coming back with two tinfoil packets. ''Thanks, see ya later Chris'' He just replied with a nod and we re entered the room where everyone was mingling and starting to be seated.
Niall lead me up to the table at the front of the room and sat me down next to him, I looked and even saw that I had a place name. Niall spotted me looking at it
''Yeah, I might've told them I dated you before you came here, so they got you a seat next to me.'' He explained.
''This is so weird,'' I shook my head with a giggle ''But it like it.'' I turned to him, suddenly my eyes were locked with his. All those shades of blue and green placed together in the small space, the way they shined and glimmered in the reflection of the sun, streaming through the window, suddenly I was looking at his lips and was thinking about how much I wanted to kiss them. They turned up into an adorable smile, and leant into my own lips. They brushed briefly and my stomach flipped, then they were together.
And then, somewhere below all this happening, my heart was reacting.
Not a thump exactly, not even a leap, but a kind of swish, almost like a frog kicking off from a muddy bank. My heart, that amphibian, moving that moment between two elements; one, excitement, the other fear. I tried to pay attention. I tried to hold up my end of the bargain, but Niall was way ahead of me. His lips smiled against mine and I wasn't sure how to react.
Did I smile back, did I pull away to do so or stay still? I wasn't very experienced in the whole kissing thing, but this was happening I was kissing THE Niall Horan at his brother Greg's wedding in front of a few hundred people. Then Niall's lips were pulled from mine.
''You kiss by the book'' He smirked.
''Did you just quote Shakespeare to me?'' I blushed and laughed lightly.
