Two hours. Two freaking hours!
They were in that elevator for two hours. The maintenance guys couldn't figure it out what was the problem with the elevator and why wasn't it opening. They had to wait for another guy to come, and just then they were able to figure what was wrong with the elevator and solve the problem.
In the meantime, they had attracted a small crowd of people in the lobby. Some were hotel employees and others belonged to the Bayern technical staff, among them was the coach, Pep Guardiola. He had been warned about the incident when he was waiting for Chelsea to come.
Soon the elevator doors opened, Pep was the first to say something as he saw Chelsea and....Lewa getting out of the elevator. He chuckled, " God, Chelsea, you sure are late for our meeting. I was beginning to think that something bad had happened."
Chelsea gave him a sympathetic smile, " I'm sorry. This was not supposed to happen as well as my flight delay." She apologized.
Robert was standing beside her and hearing her trading words with her coach had left him speechless.Chelsea was a little surprising box.
Pepe returned the smile, " It's ok. You couldn't predict that you were going to be locked in an elevator...and with one of my players."
Chelsea quickly glanced at the handsome man standing next to her, blushing a little. Sometimes, she hated when Pep was so up front with his words. She didn't want to be blushing and embarrassing herself like she was right now. "He was a good elevator partner."
"That's good, I wouldn't have any other way." Pep Guardiola chuckled with Chelsea response. "I hope he behaved like a proper gentleman."
"Hey, I'm always a gentleman!" Robert intervened their conversation, half protesting and half joking with what his coach had said.
That lightened the mood, and Chelsea relaxed a bit. She wasn't much embarrassed like a couple of seconds ago. She laughed lightly and said, " He behave nicely and we actually had an interesting talk...for two long hours."
"Thank God," Pep pretended to be relieved with her answer. Then, more seriously he stated. "It's late, guys. Chelsea, I think you should go home, will reschedule our meeting. Lewa, you should also go rest."
"No, no! Pep, these are important contracts and big sponsors!" Chelsea argued in a bit of panic. She couldn't get out of the hotel empty handed, her boss was going to kill her.
"I'm aware, Chelsea, but I'm also Pep Guardiola...so I think they wont mind waiting," he winked, then continued, " You have to see this as an opportunity to visit Munich. I believe you haven't visit the city yet."
Chelsea rolled her eyes, Pep sometimes needed to pay attention to the things she said. " Pep, my mom's side is German, they are from Munich." If there was one place she knew like London it was Munich.
"Okay, I should clearly pay more attention to what you said," Pep joked at his mistake. Normally, he wouldn't do one as big as this...but he knows a lot of people and his a very busy man, and keep everything in check is complicated. " Well, then...you can visit again the city and maybe see a Bayern match at the Allianz Arena."
"Fine, but you have to talk with my boss about what happened today. Seriously, I don't want to get fired just because I got stuck in the elevator with Mister footballer," Chelsea spoke, pointing to Robert, who was trying to maintain a serious posture but what he wanted was laughing at her little joke.
He nodded, " We've got a deal. Now, go rest. We will talk in the coming days." Then someone from Bayern's technical team called him, he turned to Chelsea and politely said, " If you excuse me, I have to attend an errand. Have a rest of good night, Chelsea."
They both watched Pep get way, then Robert broke the silence, and smirking said, " Well, that sure was interesting."
"Yeah..."
He continued talking, " I thought you just had a professional bond with Pep...I mean you seem to know each other for quite sometime."
Chelsea nodded, confirming, " Yes, we know each other for some time. It goes way back, I met him in his first season with Barcelona...and as many said, the rest is history."
Robert was impressed, " That's kind of cool, but how can I never saw you around before?" He asked confused, a face like her wouldn't be forgotten anytime soon.
"I have a very busy life. These last years, Luke, my co-worker, was the one that had the most meetings with Pep, since I couldn't be in all of them. I have other clients to attend." Chelsea explained, still pretty overwhelmed for the fact that she was talking with a famous football, who was not only hot as hell but also nice. God, it even felt natural, she didn't get nervous talking with him.
"So, why is you that's here today and not your co-worker?" He asked curious, while crossing his arms.
"Pep asked for me. He said he was tired of having weird meeting with Luke," Chelsea laughed lightly, only Luke to have weird meetings with famous football people...he easly was the most nervous person she had ever met. " He gets a lot nervous when he meets very famous people."
Robert raised on eyebrow, sighing. " I guess that's kind of normal, most people stay overwhelmed with a presence of a known person."
"I know, and I'm like that a bit too...but it starts to get weird when afer more than fifty meetings you still talk the same way." Chelsea explained.
"Oh!"
"Yeah...so here I am, and I have more work to do!" She exclaimed ironically.
"You have to think about the positive sides, thanks to your job, you met me today," Robert said, he was glad to meet someone like Chelsea, besides being beautiful, she seemed to be a very nice and smart person.
She blushed, for the hundred time, damn Robert, "Yes, that the best thing that happens in an unlucky day."
"I'm glad you think that way," he replied honestly, observing the beauty that was now in front of him.
"I guess I'm going to go now. It's late, I have work tomorrow and you have a flight," she said a bit nervous. She didn't know what to say, she just met him two hours ago and he was Robert freaking Lewandowski!
"Yeah, yeah..." Robert said, a little sad. After meeting her what he wanted the least was going to sleep, "It was nice meeting you, you're a nice person"
"Thanks, you're a nice person too," she said, more redder than a tomato.
"Oh, when you're in Munich to talk to Pep...tell me, I could give you the tour in the training center since you already know all Munich," Robert said, trying not be nervous or sounding awkward
"Ok, it was really nice meeting you...Robert," she said before kissing his cheek
"You too, Chelsea," He breathed, inhaling her perfume.
