I was so used to running away or fighting my problems mentally but never physically. I was known to do something insane to protect myself from getting hurt now, after I completely let my guard down and let somebody in a long time ago. Yet here I was, fierce as ever, crashing through the bramble, scraping myself ever so often, my bag constantly bouncing on my back, and trying to ignore the yelling behind me. I finally got to a point in the thick forest when the voices came to be mute, and I reached the waterfall, leaning against a tree to steady myself and catch my breath. I had made it.
