A/n: Hello everyone. I' taking my time to put effort in this story so I would really appreciate it if this story is actually read because I have plans for this story~

Today was the day. Today was the day that (Y/n) became an official Phantomhive maid. She had heard that her new Master had other servants though he did say that it was only him and Sebastian.....

~Flashback~

Ciel had just finished his dance with his beloved fiancée and she had gone. Sebastian was there by his side in his study and the servants were all there. They stood in front of their master standing tall and proud, for they are the skilled trio. The Phantomhive servants.

"You may be wondering why I have called you here, correct?"
They nodded their heads in sync.
" I have called you hear today because I have decided to release you from your jobs."
They servants were quite surprised by this and they would not allow themselves to leave so easily since they had been loyal to their master since the former mansion burned down.
"We are not leaving this mansion, we don't care if you release us, we will serve this place until the very end." They said together.
Ciel tched in annoyance for the sevants were to stubborn for his liking.
" You dare talk back to your master? Well then, I'm going to have to arrange some punishments......"

~Flashback End~

She was still wondering what happened to the servants when her thoughts got interrupted by the one and only one hell of a butler. She was told to come back to her masters study for some new orders she is going to be given. She walked her way down the halls to the study since she now knows the way and she would have to remember that way for a long time now. She entered through the lustrous study door to reveal her 'master'. He was there writing something down. He looked up from his work to see (Y/n) in front of him.
"Master, I was told by Sebastian that I am going to be given orders."
"Ah, yes your list of chores are right here. This should be enough for the day." he said.
She left without another word, trying not to look into her masters eyes, telling her self that it woud surely be hell right there indeed. Little (Y/n) was oblivious to the fact that her master had a little trick up his sleeve. That smirk made it's way back to his face.
" Oh my little darling, I've got everything set for our little game here~"

(Y/n)'s eyes scanned the list of things to do.

-Clean the floors
-Polish the stairs
-Change the curtains in all of the rooms
-Fix the China
-Polish The Chess Set

This list was probably very easy, except for the curtains but still. Sebastian would be off doing some errands today somewhere else. She was informed by him himself so it was just her and her master in he mansion......
It was now around 11:30, The girl checked the nearest wall clock . She was hoping to get done soon. She decided she was going to do everything in order.

~ Time Skip~

After 5 long hours of working, (Y/n) actually thought these chores were harder that she thought but despite that, she just had one more thing to do, Polish the Chess set. She was told were the chess set was and she clearly remembered. She entered the room and immediately saw the chess set. She had some polish and a rag in her hand and so, she started with her last job of the day and then, she would be finished with all her work.....(Y/n) looked at every single piece before polishing it. The set was a beautiful one indeed. She had played chess many times before and it has in fact become one of the girl's most favourite board games though, she never got to play it that much. ....She finished with the chess set and she was told to meet Ciel in his study once she was finished with her chores.
She exited the room, oblivious to the fact that the raven butler was given an order, all set for the little pawn in this game.......

(Y/n) entered Ciel's study. He looked as if he was waiting for the girl to come in there. He stood up from his seat and told (Y/n) that her would be inspecting her work. They walked out of the study and (Y/n) followed her master as they walked around the whole mansion. He was inspecting her work and he was quite pleased with the outcome, that is for a mere human. The last place the room with the chess set. The pair entered the room and they took a good look at the chess board but (Y/n) saw something that made (Y/n) blood chill. Two pieces on the chess board were missing. The King and the Queen on what is supposed to be the white side but was replaces with pure glass. Ciel turned to (Y/n).
" (Y/n), why are there two chess pieces missing?"
Before (Y/n) could answer, she was interrupted again by her master.
"My, my (Y/n). Causing me trouble on your first day. This certainly can't go un-punished." He said.
He walked closer and closer to his maid, talking his glove off with his teeth in the process. He cupped the girls cheek, then traced her jawline.
"I hate to do this dear but I can't let this pass."
Slap

Painful noises could be heard in this dark room. (Y/n) was in an unknown room with her master, a whip in his hand. He smirked down at the girl. The whip slashes covered her body with her maid dress being ripped by the whips impact. She was on the ground, blood pouring from the wounds. She earned this punishment from those two simple pieces yet they were never gone. They were upon Ciel's desktop, right next to each other in perfect condition. He knew....
" Oh, (Y/n), I'm so sorry I had to do this." he said while walking over to the girl.
He started at her back, lightly touching the wounds and earning whimpers from the poor girl. Blood. Her blood grazed his hand. He walked in front of the girl and lifted her chin so her half lidded eyes could meet his glowing eyes.
" I'm sorry, love. It truly was needed but later on when your cleaned up, I'll kiss these cuts away." he said as he kissed the trailing blood off her shoulder. (Y/n) then fell into complete darkness.

"This is all just a game"
