There are a few ways you can cheat on these awards. If you do, your story will be disqualified. Here's how you can cheat.
Creating fake accounts to vote on your story
If you create a fake account and vote on your own story then never use it again, that's considered cheating. Everyone should have a FAIR go at these awards.
Voting for your own story
You are not allowed to vote for your own story. Same thing, it needs to be fair. It's perfectly fine if you tell your readers about you entering the awards to try to get them to vote for your story, but you can't vote for your own story.
Using a fake account to nominate your own story
If you've already submitted two stories for let's say, Creepypasta, but want to submit a third story, you know you aren't allowed to. You can't create a fake account and submit your story. Even if you've already submitted two stories for a category, and another real person submits another story of yours for that category, it will not be accepted.
