Hazel's POV
When I woke up, there was screaming from the front garden.
I stood up the best I could and crept into the front room and peeped threw the curtain.
Mum was beating up a little girl.
That's when I realised who it was.
It was Carly.
I gasped.
Demi's car came down the road and jumped out of her car.
She punched Mum and grabbed Carly.
Demi ran to the car with Carly clinging on to her and jumped into the car with Carly and locked it before Mum could hurt her.
Demi was sat in her car ringing the police whilst Mum was lying on the grass unconscious.

Demi's POV
I held Hazel in my arms and rang the police.
Her face was bruised and nose was bleeding.
When I had finished on the phone I asked Hazel if she was okay.
"I'm not called Hazel," She said.
Voice sounded like Hazel, she looked like Hazel. Who was she?
"What's your name?" I asked confused.
"Carly," She said quietly.
"Where's Ha-"
"Inside."
"Stay here," I told Carly.
I jumped out of the car and ran into the house,
It absolutely stank of alcohol and fags.
The walls were brown and the floor
"HAZEL??" I shouted.
"Demi??" Hazel peered her head around the door.
She was naked and covered in cuts and bruises.
She ran into my arms and I covered her with my coat.
She cried into my chest and she clung onto me when I picked her up.
I walked to my car with her crying into my chest,
"Where do you think your going??" Hazel's Mum was lying on the grass rubbing where I had punched her.
I just laughed at her and got into my car.
"Carly??" Hazel said,
"Hazel?" Carly said.
I was so confused.
I decided to ask them later.
They both cried and they both cried into my chest and we waited for the police to arrive.
