"Tripping over myself
Aching, begging you to come help.
And now that I'm without your kisses,
I'll be needing stitches"~"Stitches" by Shawn Mendes
KimberlyNext morning, I found myself standing on the porch of Connor's house. I knocked on his door, my heart racing with delight.
How would he respond?
What if he has forgotten my face?
The thought of finally meeting him sent chills down my entire body. I didn't know if I was ready for his reaction. I didn't know if he'd accept me.
Suddenly, the door budged. I waited with bated breath for the face behind the door to be revealed.
The door opened to disclose a lady, in her thirties or forties, maybe. Her brunette hair tied up in a bun and light blue, confused eyes stared at me.
Who's she?
Connor's mom?
"Uhm...hi" I smiled "Mrs. Parker?"
"Uh no" she shook her head "This isn't Mrs. Parker, I think you have the wrong house here"
I was astonished, I was so sure I came to the right place.
She began to close the door on my face "Wait!" I stopped the door "Do you, by any means, know the Parker family?"
"No young lady" she spat brutally "I've got work to do, go ask someone else!" exclaiming that, she immediately closed the door leaving me standing on the vacant porch.
"Where are you Parker?" I muttered under my breath.
Did they move out?
No, they can't just move out! Where am I going to look for them now?
My eyes filled with tears.
What now?
I think I stood on the unoccupied porch for five minutes just wondering that and then I ambled away.

I stomped on the sidewalk, taking wide hurried steps. My destination was a renowned flower shop of the neighborhood.
It was the only way I could find him, and probably my last chance.

Connor, I'm back
