Daphne PoV

Daphne Rodriguez is my name. I'm 17 turning 18 graduating out of high school. I remember my first love, first kiss, first heart break. Prom dates and dances. High school was a thrill. I 'm really going to miss these losers. I giggled to myself. Where are you? Is what you may be thinking. Well I'm standing at my graduation. Watching people cry as my best friend Gia sang Whitney Houston. "I will always love you." she sang in her breath taking voice. I guess that's why she is going to the top college in L. A. Filled with musicians, music and all types of talent agents. Me I'm a petty little dancer who happened to make it into julliard. Yeah I know your thinking "julliards a great school Daphne....what's wrong?". it's not the school that's wrong it's me. I haven't danced in years. I dance once there and it's good enough to get in? I was totally shocked when I got results with no hesitation I accepted but something in me tells me that I don't belong. I may have lost my skills, my moves , my love for dance. Maybe I have lost the mojo and kick to my dance moves. Gia ended her breath taking performance and as she came back to her seat she hugged me big. "I'm really going to miss you." she said in my shoulder. "same I'm on east coast your west coast were literally so far away." I said choked on words crying. I turned to see my parents in their seats proud and my mom in tears. I turned back around to see everyone laughing as the principle danced "y'all leaaaaaving and never coming back again!" he sang as we laughed "okay graduates fling your hats!!!!"

Craig pov

Today's the day....I have to do it....I'm afraid of what will happen. What if she says no or maybe she might say shes not ready. Hell I'm ready. But man my mind is running of all bad things that could happen. I stared at my phone. My baby girl's number in my phone... I stared at her number. My hands were shaking and I still couldn't find the strength to press talk....I tool a breath and pressed it. Sh!t I'm not ready no no I can't I...."hello?" I heard her soft voice say... Now my nerves ate worst then before "hey lush. It's Craig.." I said calmly "babyyyyy!!!" she squealed I felt a little better and my confidences boosted "honey bear!" I said back "what's up bae?" she said my heart dropped. "Uh Uh oh yeah wanna go out with me...I mean for breakfast... It's 5am and I wanna watch the sun rise with you!" she giggled in the phone and I know she's blushing "okay tell you what..give me 20 minutes and I'll be ready!!" I sighed in relief "okay see you in 20 my house." "okay bye baby!" she said muwahing into the phone "bye honey bun." okay time to put on my best clothes

"the blue or the red?" I asked my little brother Jojo he thought about it and scrunched up his face. "neither." I rolled my eyes "I'll pick red." I said wearing the tie. I fixed my tie about four times "Craig what are you doing?" I sighed "lil bro.....when you find out you love a girl and it's been a while." I said sitting on the bed with him. "you been going out for months maybe even years....all you want to do is..be with her forever and you want to make sure she's yours....that's what I want." he tilted his head "Craig are you gonna like.. propose?" I nodded "yeah..." I said dreamily "as nervous as I am I'm still going to do it.." Jo Jo looked down and back up "if so then you should wear the red and the red nikes." I smiled "what would I do without you?" he shrugged "you wouldn't ahve anyone to defend about them colossal ears." I glared at him but laughed "boy bye!!" I said pushin him out my room. I looked and started walking down the hall stepping downstairs and saw luscious in a orang sundress. My heart instantly took off beating almost a hundred miles a minute. I could feel my stomach knotting already. "hey baby." she said swinging her arms around my neck. I guess she felt my heart beat cause she pulled back. "you okay?" she said laying a hand on my heart and a hand on my forehead. "Uh huh just hot!" I said trying to calm down my heart rate. She nodded "oh okay.." wait what was that? That okay wa snot okay..she sounded upset "are you okay baby?"she nodded "of course I am." she smiled I shook my head "no your not what's wrong?" I said nudging her "I'm tirrrrrrreed." I laughed "Aww it will be worth it....trust me." I said softly.
