Chapter 1

My best friend, Fall is now dragging me again to Thunder's  classroom who was called her "special friend" and told me that she's just gonna give something, which is her alibi just to see him every day.

"This will just take a minute Ice!"

Oh you mean minute as in 1 hour?

I just shrugged and go to the lockers where I'm a bit far from them; you know privacy to let her do her sweet talking with him.

I'm thinking about something to let the time pass when my eyes landed on them.

I watched them as they smiled sincerely at each other and how they express their love for one another and I can't help but to feel left out, like I am the third wheel in their love story.

I stared at them for like five minutes before I looked away, feeling sad, of course.

Sometimes I wonder if we will be as sweet as them if I found him, or if we're like the type who was like cats and dogs who tease each other every day.

"Ice!"

Maybe, maybe not but it's okay as long as we love each other.

"Ice! Hey!"

Fall poked my forehead and cheeks and I looked at her, annoyed.

"What the hell? Why are you poking your fingers all over my face?"

She put her hand on her hip and raised one brow, also annoyed with my response.

"Uhhmm..Hello?! You're spacing out and I told you that we had to go because we only have fifteen minutes before the bell rings!"

I looked at my watch and she's right. Fifteen minutes to spare.

"I'm sorry, okay?"

I rolled my eyes at her and began walking back to our classroom.

She said goodbye to her "special" someone and ran beside me.

"Why did you leave me back there?"

"Because you're still saying goodbye to your lovey dovey" emphasizing the words "lovey dovey" because I know how much she hates those kinds of names.

She looked at me disgustingly and said, " Eww Ice that's so disgusting! What kind of a word is that? Or is it even a word?"

"Whatever. Let's go"

We're like ten steps from the door of our classroom when Fall nudged me and I tell you, it hurts, a lot.

"What's wrong with you?!"

"Look on your right side" She whispered.

"And why will I do that?" , while raising one eyebrow.

She rolled her eyes at me and sighed.

"Don't be stubborn! Just look, okay?"

"Fine!"

I turned my head on that direction when my eyes widened because of what I saw.

I gulped and dragged Fall behind the stairs and looked at her, blushing.

"Why did you make me look at him?"

"Why? Still affected?" and she smirked.

I rolled my eyes and leaned on the railings while closing my eyes.

Maybe you're wondering on why I was so affected with what I saw.

I just saw Christian, my crush. We were bestfriends back in 7th grade but unfortunately, we avoided each other when he found out that he's my crush.

So that's why I'm avoiding him right now. We treat each other as strangers and like nothing happened back then.

I took slow, deep breaths and calmed myself.

" Let's go Fall" I pulled her and I walked straight ahead like he doesn't exist.

"Hey, he's looking at you" Fall whispered.

"So what?" But deep inside, my heart is swelling with hope that he's really looking at me.

"Really Ice? You just say so what? If I know, you're jumping up and down because of joy deep inside you" she smirked.

Why does she have to smirk all the time?

" If I know, you look stupid everytime you smirk" I told her, while mimicking her voice.

If looks can kill, I'm already dead by now.

"I'm just kidding Fall! Don't take it seriously!"

"Whatever Ice" while making a letter W with her fingers.

" I'm sorry! You're beautiful when you smirk everytime!!"

"Really?" She smirked again and this time, I can't contain my laughter anymore.

"HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!!"

"Hey, why are you laughing?"

" You!! HAHAHAHHAHA you're so gullible pfftttt HAHAHAHAHA!!"

"Ohh I'm gullible huh?" She told me with a devilish grin.

Uh-oh I know where this is going.

I ran very fast and change directions very quickly so that she couldn't catch me.

I went down to the hallway of another 9th grade batch when I accidentally bumped into someone but unfortunately, he is tall and I almost fell on the floor but he catched me.

I looked at him and my eyes widened when I saw who it was.
