I'm A Badger

-Introduction-

You walk in a straight line in darkness. You have no idea where you are.
You can't hear, see, smell nor feel anything.

You hear a small noise, like an heavy object falling to the ground. The sound was followed by a another, much more louder sound....

"GOD FUCKIN' DAMMIT"

You walk towards the source where the rather vulgar words were coming from.

You see a person there, laying on the ground while holding their foot. Next to them is a large box filled to the brim with what seemed like books.

You walk up to the person, opening your mouth to ask for their well-being, but no sound came out.

The person on the ground looks up at you and stands up slowly.

"Don't bother to talk...No one can hear ya here, not even you yerself..."

A look of confusion shows itself on your face.

They catch your drift and clear their throat.

"Welcome to the Void!
Here no one can see ya, hear ya and don't even know if yer here or not...I'm the only person who can see you here, but because I'm pretty much insane and hallucionate, I can't be sure..."

They lift their arm up as a gesture for you to shake their hand.

"The name's Joel, I run this place. Don't bother to tell me yer name, not because I already know it, but because I won't remember it.

Now sit back and relax, grab a drink and somethin' good to eat, 'coz you aren't goin' anywhere anytime soon..."

They said, crouching down to pick up the box and then they left, leaving you to yourself once again.

You thought to yourself that you might as well explore and see if there is anything in the Void.
If you found a crazy badger person then you're sure to find something else, right?
