Chapter 2.

Carslile's POV

I got into work and I saw that a mother and her son were in worse condition.
"Carslile." The woman called.
"Yes ma'am."
"Do anything, anything in your power to save him. Please, he's all I have." And with that she died. Her son Edward lied there dying and I know that I should save him, it was his mothers dying wish.
I walked over to him and held onto his right hand. I bent down into the crook of his neck and bit him. He stayed the same and I had to go back home. I picked him up and put him in the back seat and quickly drove home. When I pulled up I ran to get Edward as fast as I could and I ran inside and placed him on the table. We never used it.
Bella went to go and grab his hand and when she did she pulled away.
"Carslile how did you know that Esme was your mate?"
"When we first touched we could feel a spark. Why?"
"I think that I just found my mate."

Esme had a smile on her face and I did too.
"Oh Bella were do happy for you." I told her.
She went back to Edward and grabbed his hand and held it to hers.
"Is it okay if I put him in my room?"
"Sure."
she picked him up and carried him into the room.
"I'm so happy for her."
"me too." I said putting my arms around Esme's waist and resting my chin on her head.

For the next few days Bella wouldn't leave his side after finding out about him being her mate and all. On the third and final day we all went into Edward's room while Bella was still by his side. We could hear his heart speed up and then stop.
"Edward you can wake up now." Bella told him. When he opened his eyes and he saw Bella he smiled.
I was happy for them.
"Bella help him hunt and keep him away from humans please." Esme told her. Edward just stood their looking around. Edward started to rub his throat.
"Hunt? What?" Edward asked confused.
"I'll show you." Bella said pulling him towards the window.
"No, no. I cant do it."
"Yes you can your not human your a vampire."
"I'm a what?"
"Vampire when we get back I will tell you everything I promise."
Bella jumped out and then Edward did what she did and the next thing that I know they are running.
I just looked up and smiled at Carslile. Were going to have a happy family."
"I know Esme you keep saying that."

Bella's POV

Me and Edward are running through the forest and I tell him, "Stop and take in the surroundings."
I could hear a mountain lion and told him to go after it. As he drank it I watched him.
"What?"
"Nothing." His clothes were horribly ripped everywhere. He ate 10 mountain lion and I ate 7 and 6 bears. After that we headed home.
"So what happened to you?" He asked me.
"My name is Isabella Marie Whitlock. I had a brother named Jasper Whitlock and we were the only two kids from both our mother and father." And I told him what happened. He stopped and gave me a hug. He then picked me up off my legs and ran us to the house. We couldn't see or hear Carslile or Esme. So we just sat on the couch.
"So can you tell me about being a vampire?" He asked.
"Sure. We have incredible hearing and sight. Our senses are also incredible, to humans we have ice cold skin and we are of course pale white. We never age, and sleep. But, here's one thing that you should know about me I can sleep. Some other vampires have other abilities, or powers."
"Cool."
"I guess. There's one more thing that I have to tell you. But, please don't leave after I tell you."
"Promise." he told me.
"Pinkie promise?" I asked him, sticking out my pinkie. He looked at me crazy and then intertwined his pinkie with mine.
"Pinkie promise."
"And if you break the pinkie promise I get to take your pinkies. Anyways, there is this thing called a mate. Mates are two people that cant stand to be away from each other and when they touch they can feel electricity between them. It is like you find your other half. And you have a mate and so do I. Esme and Carslile are mates. Who do you think yours is?" I asked him.
He looked up and I looked down, "You?"
I nodded my head. He took his finger and placed it under my chin and made me look up at him.
"Bella, for some reason when I first saw you I don't know what it was but, I instantly fell in love with you."
"Ed-" He cut me off by crashing his lips to mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck and intertwined my fingers into the nape of his hair. He growled and I smiled. Just then mom and dad walked in the door and smiled.
