Ever since the kiss last night, Ulora and Zero were distant. They were quiet when they saw each other. On the other hand, the girls were gossiping, the guys were complaining. The party was at the castle so they began to clean.
"Zero, Ulora, you are on the outside. Nabora and Elliot! You are on food. Nate and Carol, inside cleaning. I am on preparations. Go!" Garroth yelled. Everyone went to their destination. Ulora grabbed a black bag and picked up the leaves. Zero was moving the targets.
Noon struck. The sun started burning the surface of the Earth. Zero removed his sweater. Ulora to throw out the trash. Back in the castle, Nate and Carol were looking outside.
"I wonder what happened between the two. Probably something awkward." Carol suggested.
"Maybe." Nate said, getting back to work. Everyone went inside after chores and changed. The two girls were in their party gowns. The guys putted on their suit. Zero slipped on his suit, but before he left, he grabbed his sword pack. Ulora slipped on her battle clothes and picked up her sword pack.
"Ulora! What are you wearing? We're trowing a party not a war," the girls complained. The girls shoved her in their room and forced her in a dress. The girls went out. She slipped her sword down her back.
Groups in different parts came in. The party had begun. People began to dance and laugh. Zero leaned on the wall. A group of girls surrounded him. He tried losing the girls by going in the crowd. On the other side of the courtyard, Ulora tried losing a group of guys into the crowd. Zero and Ulora pushed through the ctowd , trying to loose them. Ulora tripped and fell into someone's arms.
"Watch were you're …" Zero frozed. They both stared at each other's eyes. The group of girls and guys caught up with them.
"Um… this is my date." They both said in sync. The groups left.
"Tried escaping an angry mob?" They both said together.
"Yeah." Ulora said with a sigh.
"Dance?" Zero asked.
"I… I better not," she replied.
"Why?"
"I… I can't dance…"
"I'll teach you."
"I don't know…"
"Trust me." Zero said. Zero grabbed her hands and placed them on his shoulders. He placed his hands on her hips. Ulora blushed. She looked down watching his steps.
"First of all, you can't dance looking down. Look at me." Zero said. Ulora looked at him. They danced for hours. WOOSH! A big mutant skeleton broke in. Ulora drawer her blade and ran to the monster. She jumped and climbed the monster. She slashed and cutter it. The skeleton was weak. She lifted her blade and stabbed the monster.
She jumped off and the monster disappeared.
"Who are you?" A guy called from afar. The crowed gossiped and whispered to each other.
"I am Ulora! The solo surviver. I recently joined the settlement that started this party. Our group is called The Shadow Knights and you better remember the name!" Ulora shouted. The crowed roared in joy.
