4. Love Hate and hate
"You have lost weight," Rudra said blankly staring at the sky from the office's terrace. Meera stood beside him in deep thoughts for few seconds. He knew she was angry and repenting every moment and he felt bitter about it. He complained that if he was ever going to meet her than god could have designed the situation bit differently.
"I really don't know that why are we even standing here and listening to each other? The situation isn't so bad! We are working at the same workplace, so what? Whatever happened was mutually decided. I think that I am really okay with current situation. My career is really on the bright side now so I won't mess up! Weight loss or gain, I don't care anymore. Anything that you want to say?" Meera finished and asked him.
Rudra stared at her for a second as he couldn't believe that the girl who would cringe over every small thing was being so matured. "You should have been married by now, right? Are you getting a divorce..." he stopped to look at her reaction and expected her to storm out or something but she just curled her palms into a fist and faked a smile. "No," she said and turned to leave.
"Meera, it's good to see you, again," Rudra said just watching into the blue sky and smiling at it and heard the door close after a second as Meera left. She wasn't actually angry but disappointed at the situation and moreover at the fact that Rudra didn't care about the whole situation. She would have to struggle to avoid him and be so careful stay away from him. It was a challenge for her but he was simply fine with it because he never cared too much about nothing.
She found herself breaking but she had to act mature. She wasn't going to be that whiny child anymore and moreover she had got over him way back so it wasn't going to be that hard. Maybe.

"Meera, the reason we wanted you in this project is because of your past experience with mobile applications. But as you have to start from scratch, it's going to be tough and you will have to work really hard." Mr. Dixit told Meera and she accepted the challenge sportingly nodding her head and expecting everything to be good around her.
"I am your lead means you have to directly report to me," her new boss told her. He seemed like in his forties with his huge tummy and baldness taking in now. "Hi, I am Meera." She said with a smile but he just stared at her blankly with the look that said he didn't care of who she was! "Vinod here!" he replied and took her to an empty workstation which was opposite to her project teamates and she was scared of being left out. "It's just for few days unless the company assigns you a proper workstation. Just remember that once you get the workstation after that you will daily drop a mail to me about the tasks that you have worked on!" Vinod had a stern voice and Meera missed her previous jovial lead.
All she did that day was flipping through the slideshow to understand more about the project which Vinod mailed her. It was past 1 and she was very hungry. She was relieved to see Vinod and few other teammates walking outside with the lunchboxes in their hands. She looked at them hopefully but they just smiled at her. Not a single person from that group asked her for lunch and she suddenly felt very lonely and alone. She was struggling between skipping her lunch or not but finally she walked out with her lunchbox. She was going to have her lunch by herself for the first time!

Rudra was angry and wanted hit his head on the wall. There was not even a minute where he could think of something else but Meera. He hated when Vinod assigned her seat on the opposite end and now he had to get up with different reasons just to see if she was doing fine. He was stealing glances at her but she never looked at his way. Not even once! And that made him angrier. "Rudra, this image isn't appearing in centre on Internet explorer but its working fine on chrome!" he heard Naitra. "Change your CSS code! It really seems childish Naitra if you come with such questions because you are not working on a college project, ok?"
