I finally got out of school for the day. Just as I walked out of math I tuned to go to my locker. When I did I was in the middle of dialing my oldest brothers number when, I bumped in to a rock solid chest. " Oh I'm so sorry I didn't see you there!" I apologized and turned to walk away "wait!" I herd some one say. I kept on walking pretending that I didn't hear them.
When I got outside the school I called Jackson, he answered with a "Who are you and what could you possibly want with me at 3:45 pm when my moms in the hospital!" I scoffed and said "Jax she is my mom too really, look at your caller id for once! good ribbons!" "Oh sorry sis do you need a ride here" he says. "DUH EVERY ONE AT MY SCHOOL HATES ME FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! PAY ATTENTION NEXT TIME YOU ARE HOME, AND I WALK INSIDE CRYING MY EYES OUT!" I yell at him. "I'll be there in five minutes, love you bye." He says and ends the call.
When Jax finally gets there I crawl in his car and put my earbuds in and select a song. When we get to the hospital dad says "Kids I'm glad you are here." He says with a sad expression. The only thing I can think is oh no. "What's wrong dad?" I ask. He looks at Jax and I and starts to cry. "Your mother only has one week or less to live." He says while he sobs into his hands. "WHAT?!?!" I yell and run out of the hospital
When I run out I see someone I didn't want to. James Murphy, the schools bad boy, football captain, and major player! He saw me sitting on the curb crying he looked and me like he had seen me somewhere before. When he realized who I was he said " hey your the girl I bumped into on the hallway at school." " why do you care!" I scream. "I care because I'm nice to nerds outside of school." He mutters under his breath. " I believe that like I believe the doctors are going to let my mom live longer than a week." I mutter "what?!" He asks with concern "JUST GO AWAY, ALL YOU WANT IS TO USE ME TO MAKE ALL OF THE GIRLS YOU HAVE PLAYED JEALOUS!" I yelled. "No that's not I want to be your friend from the looks of your lunch table you have none right now." He states. WHAT JUST HAPPENED?! I'm thinking when he says this
