We arrived outside the shop that Yoongi had lead us to, which was painted pastel blue and had a creepy-looking display of China dolls wearing intricate bibs and boots. There was a faint light flickering from the inside, suggesting that it was still open, however we couldn't see if Tae was in there as the windows were too cloudy.

"So this is the only place?" I raised an eyebrow.

"It's the only one that fully fits the description." Yoongi shrugged.

My fingers slid into my back pocket, discreetly grasping onto the cold gun.

I pushed the door open with my back, stepping into the warmth.

The shop was extremely small, adding to the eery atmosphere. The walls were covered in sippy-cup and cookie motifs, with baby baths and baskets neatly packed into a display behind the counter.

There was nobody else inside.

"Hello?" I said quite loudly.

I heard a loud rustling sound that seemed to be coming from behind one of the walls.

Whilst tightening my grip on the pistol, I asked again, "is anybody here?"

The sound of panicked mutters came from the same place as before.

"Taehyung?"

Now, there was just silence.

"Tae? It's me, Sasha."

We waited again, but this time we could only hear one voice.

"I'll have a look around." Yoongi whispered.

"Stay close, Jimin."

Yoongi went to examine the wall of the counter, running his fingertips across the wooden shelving. He stopped soon though, bending down to check something.

"What is it?"

"I don't know yet." Yoongi said nervously.

I went around to where he was crouched, Jimin trailing after me. The boy was examining a cardboard box behind the counter.

"What's so interesting about a box?" I glared.

"It's not that... Let me show you something." He pressed his boot into the floor around the box, making an old and whiney squeak.

"It's flimsy around here, so there's something beneath the floor, probably a room."

He nudged the box out of the way, revealing the outline of a plastic trap door.

"Just as I thought." He smiled, and pulled back the chain keeping the door in place slowly. The door swung out, revealing a patch of darkness below.

"Better head down then." I grinned, ready to jump down the slot, but Yoongi swiftly grabbed my wrist.

"Woah! How do you know it's safe to go down?"

"I don't. But what's the worse that could happen?"

He opened his mouth as if he was going to answer that, but I glared at him, making his swallow in embarrassment.

"Do either of you have a torch?"

Jimin patted his coat down, then pulled a large metallic device out of pocket and turned it on, illuminating the pastel carpet.

"You climb down after me. Throw me the torch down when I tell you to."

I approached the open trap door, squatting down to climb onto the ladder. Slowly, I lowered myself down, descending with caution.
