"So," a suspicious smile spread across Jimin's face as he took a bite out of his waffle.I raised an eyebrow. "So?"
"Everyone had fun last night?" Jimin asked, sending a quick smirk my way.
Small nods and grunts filled the room. All eight of us were sat around my small dinner table, tucking into a set of waffles that Jungkook had prepared.
"How about you, Sasha? Have fun?" The orange haired boy grinned mischievously.
"I guess so," I shrugged.
"What about your friend? Did he have fun?"
I quickly kicked Jimin in the shin underneath the table, making him wince.
"Who's 'he?'" Jin cut in, looking quite baffled.
"Their name is Lu. And yes, I'm sure they had a great time, Jimin," I said blandly.
"'They?' Is there two of this guy now?" Taehyung said, extremely confused.
"I'm quite sure that Lu is genderqueer." I took another bite out of my waffle slowly.
"But it seems that gender didn't seem to get in the way of your little rendezvous, did it now?" Jimin winked.
"We had drinks together. Hardly anything romantic happened," I scowled.
"Mmmmmhmmmm."
"I wouldn't have known if anything romantic would have happened either because you came and told me that we were leaving."
Namjoon widened his eyes and made a series of choking sounds. "Dude? You cockblocked?!"
I started laughing, and Jimin blushed. "I did not cockblock!"
"Either way, you have some serious apologising to do to this Lu guy," Namjoon shook his head.
"You can't go and ruin someone's night like that, Jimin. Sasha was in for the night of her life before you had to go and ruin it," Hoseok joked. "Jimin is very no fun," he added in English for effect.
"I am very fun always!" He whined.
"Jimin, you got no jams."
And just like that, Jimin's little heart broke into a million pieces as he pouted jokingly at Namjoon.
"Anyway, speaking of jams, we had a good rap battle last night Yoongi," I said once the conversation had died down.
The table was now chillingly silent as Yoongi looked up from his breakfast, his expression unreadable.
"Uh, yeah. Not bad," he said quietly.
"No, you were good. You deserved to win." I looked up quickly and gave him a small smile.
Yoongi dragged his gaze over all of the other boys, as if waiting for someone to reveal that my comment was some sort of amazing joke.
"I mean that whole-heartedly. You're a better rapper than I thought," I clarified.
He gave me a little grin, which spread across his pale face to form a genuine smile.
"Thank you."
"No problem, I shouldn't have underestimated you. It costed me an easy win, if I'm honest," I smirked.
"Ooooh! Competition!" Jimin said excitedly.
"I accept that you are probably a better rapper than me, but I'm not going to compete against you to prove it." Yoongi set his cutlery down on the table and sat back in his chair.
