What Was That!? : Chapter 1

Kate's POV

        This it is. I thought to myself. The cold air hitting my face, the tears stopping. Everything will be over soon...I thought. I squeezed my eyes shut waiting for impact. But It never came. I wire wrapped around my waist and there I was flying upwards in the air. Confused I opened my eyes. I was pulled up on to a ledge and Damian's eyes met with mine.

        But his eyes were filled with anger. "What was that!?"  he yelled gripping my wrist tightly. Then we just sat there...staring into each others eyes. Then what just happened had finally came to me. I started crying. Then Damian realized what he was doing to he let go of my wrist. "Sorry..." He stood up.  I looked up at him with my teary blue eyes and nodded. I then stood up and hugged him.

        I buried my face in the crotch of his neck and started crying even more. He hugged back..and I felt safe again..he started to stroke my hair.I felt safe in his arms like no one could ever hurt me again. "I'm sorry..." I whisper in between sobs. "your sorry?" he chuckles. I bring my face put of his neck and looked at him. I nodded, a single tear made it's way down my cheek...and he wiped it away. "I should be the one saying sorry..." he gave ma a sad smile.

        "am I still a gardening tool?"  he asked. "mostly.." I giggled. I look over to see we have a audience..Yannie and Katie are giving me a thumbs up, while Jason, Tim, and Dick are making kissey faces, at Damian. I looked back at him and raised an eyebrow,as he was blushing like crazy. We slowly moved in closer and closer until our lips met.

        We heard clapping and cheering from our audience. I pulled away and smiled. "So are we....?" I started. everyone got quiet. "Kathrine Kyle...would you do the honors of being my girlfriend?" He asked his face turned a deep shade of red. "I gladly accept Damian Wayne!" I jump up with joy as everyone starts clapping again. "So I should probably get going...." I say kissing his cheek then running over to Yannie and Katie who were practically jumping up with joy for me!

        I was smiling like a total idiot! "We need to celebrate!" Katie yells. "Well then were going to need lots of cookies and skittles!" Yannie yells. Yannie teleports me and Katie to her secret sweets chamber.  "None one else but us can know about this!!" Yannie demands. Me and Katie really listen and we immediately start eating!

        Yannie Just shook her head in disappointment before she joined us.
