Animals Can't Talk! : Chapter 5

Kate's POV

~~Time Skip~~

        It was about Midnight, and Damian and I were out on patrol. We were board, we were just running from building to building hoping to find something interesting. We really didn't find anything, until I spotted a cat down in a alley.

"This Is urgent! we have to help it!" Damian yelled jumping down next to the cat, scaring It a little.

 He picked up the cat and started to pet it's fur.

"Ok, That's enough. This is getting to awkward." The cat spoke.

"What? Cats can't talk!" I yell jumping back.

"Well this one can." It scoffed. She jumped out of Damian's arms, then took the form of a person.

        Me and Damian both gave each other confused looks, before observing the person. She had a costume very similar to mine. She had brown eyes with dark brown hair.

"Are you two going to say something" She rolled her eyes.

"W-Who are you?" Damian stuttered.

"I'm Kitty girl" She spoke.

"Do you have any other name?" I questioned pointing in her direction.

"It's Katherine Kyle." She sighs. "But you can always call me Kat" she smirked.

"What?" I blurted out.

"But she's Kathrine Kyle!" Damian protested.

We both pulled off our masks and looked at each other thoroughly, not breaking eye contact.

"Explain yourself." I glared.

"Well when I was born was sent off to these labs where experiments were done on me by our so called mother Selena, I eventually died from the experiments and a young age..But then was brought back to life, and Mother doesn't know I'm alive..yet." She explained.

"Cool! I've been dead before too!" I held out my hand, and she gave me a high five.

"Come on let's go to the Batcave!" I cheer and skipped a little.

"No! We can't take...HER!"  Damian points at her.

I shrugged. "There will be lots of toys!" She smirked. 

"Uh............... no!" Damian sighed. He threw down a smoke bomb and dragged me away.

Before I knew it we were back by his bike.

"Dude?! What was that for!" I shout shoving him a little.

"Are you even sure she was your sister in the first place?" Damian and I started to argue.

"Well my Mom told me I had a sister..that passed!" I continued.

"How can you be sure?" Damian commented.

"Because I am! Have Faith in me!" huffed.

"You just can't get over the fact that you never had a sister to grow up with in the first place!" He snapped.

        I stood there and glared at him for a few seconds until his words got through to me, and my look softened.

"Let's just go home." I sighed, shuffling mt feet towards his bike.

        His look also softened, and he walked over to me and put a hand on my shoulder. And was about to say something.

"I said let's just go home!" I shout smacking his hand away.

        He sighed, and we both got on to his bike and speed off. I had my head resting on his shoulder, looking at my surroundings. All the cars and buildings were moving by fast, and the cold wind was moving through my hair. We were approaching the more wooded part of Gotham. We slowly entered the batcave. I got off Damian's Motor bike and was about to head up to my room, but then realized something wasn't right.

        I turn my head around ans start to look around the Batcave. My eyes were scanning anywhere in range of my eye sight. I saw little miss Kitty Girl messing with the giant T-Rex in the Batcave.

"What?....How!...When?" I stuttered.

"Well let's just say you two love birds aren't the quietest fighters" She smirked.

Me and Damian exchanged confused looks before I spoke up.

"Uh..you need to get out of here!" I panicked.

"No. I think i'll stay" She giggled.

"Out." Damian demanded, pulling out a baterang from his utility belt.

"Or what?" She pouted, pulling out her whip...with had spikes...

        I gulped and pulled out my whip, but before any damage could be done, a small smoke could appeared around her head. And with that...she was out.
