Kate's POV

I ran out the back door of the Batcave hearing my name being called repeated times. I was running in a straight direction. I was already dark out. You could hear the owls hooting, and the crickets chirping. I made a sudden halt at the 15 feet tall fence. I frantically looked for a way to get over.

"Kate! You don't have to do this!" Damian's voice boomed.

"No! Just stay away!" I yelled back.

I heard him speak once more, but I wasn't listening. I saw an opening big enough for me to squeeze through. I quickly sprinted over to the spot where the small opening was. I then looked back to get one last glimpse of the manor. I sad smile spread across my face. I turned around and began running. Away from the manor..away from home. I hopped up on a darkened roof top, just trying to hide. I wouldn't doubt it Damian started looking for me..or Even..my father. I shivered at the thought. I let down my wavy hair to let a cold breeze flow through it. I gently combed my fingers through it. I heard the faint sound of footsteps, so I backed into a dark corner. It was my Mother...

"Come out Kathrine, we know you're there" My mom scoffed glaring into the darkness I was hiding in.

I slowly stepped out into a faint light revealing myself.

"Did you get rid of the boy" My Father's scruffy voice was heard from behind her.

"Why should I tell you?" My whole body tensed up.

"We need to know if we need to do the job ourselves." He snarled.

I was about to say something until a hooded figure jumped down in front of me.

"....Robin...." I sighed, crossing my arms.

"So what are you doing here Two-Face?" He smirked.

"So he is alive" My Father laughed.

"Alive?" he questioned.

"Great..your weak!" My Father muttered.

I stuck my tongue out at him. My Father pulled out his gun and started to shoot at Robin, but he was dodging every bullet.

"Stop!" I yelled getting in between him and my father.

"Why should I, why can't I just shoot you both?" He asked pointing his gun at me.

"Because I'll do it myself!" I demanded.

I turned around to Robin, to see a shocked expression on his face.

"I'm sorry" I sniffled.

I ran up to him and put my arm around his neck, cutting of the air getting to his lungs.

"K-Kate..N-no.." He managed to sputter out.

I wasn't planning on killing him..just make him pass out..I hope. His grip on my arm loosened.

"Don't come looking for me, I'll be fine..I hope" I whisper into his ear.

I felt his arms come down to his sides, I small whimper came from my parted lips. I gently set him down..and left with my parents.

"Heh! weak! " My Father snorted spitting in Robin's direction.

"Hey!" I grunt hitting his rock solid, and I mean rock solid arm.

He glared down at me, and with no hesitation threw me down on the ground. My Mother stood there debating whether or not to help me up. She put out her hand for me to grab, but my Father put an arm in front of her. I glared at him before picking myself up the ground at started to walk once more. We jumped down from the rooftop we were on, to be facing a tall dirty brick wall.

"This is a dead end stupid." I mutter, and was once more shoved to the ground.

He picked up a dusty can and blew some of the dust off it and onto my face. I started coughing from the dryness in my throat. He somehow screwed off the top, and pushed a.. Button? An area on the brick wall formed a doorway. My mom quickly pounced through the doorway. My Father on the other hand, slowly shuffled his feet. I hesitantly walked in, and almost fell down the stairs. There was a long staircase that lead down to a shiney red door. I slowly opened it with a loud creek following. I was basically blinded by how much white was in the room I just walked into. White mechinery, white walls, white furniture, white EVERYTHING, Even the guards along the wall were in all white! Everytime I passed one they bowed..

"Uh you don't need to bow..." I told one of them patting their shoulder.

"Oh but we must..boss says so!" He informed me.

I nodded my head and slowly turned around to be facing, another guard. He was wearing a suit with red on one side, and white on the other. I felt myself slightly back up.

"Your Father need you." He simply said, not even looking at me.

I sighed. "Well then where am I supposed to go?!" I was already on edge.

"I shall lead you mistress." He continued started to lead the way through the white covered hallways.

He pointed to one door that looked the same as the man's suit. I slowly opened it to see a room that looked similar to a conference room. There were a bunch of different men, along with my mother and father.

"Now I'll tell you the real plans my dear!" My Father smirked at me.

He began to explain. "Dr. Brown is making a chemical that can turn any regular human being into a animal mutant! Once you turn 18 you will lead this army. We will defeat any super hero you can name! We'll force them into hiding!"

He pressed a small button on his suit sleeve. A small animation showed up on me as a 18 year old. I didn't look half bad. But then things just went downhill from there. It showed 'me' defeating Batman..making him meet his...demise. I had a look of horror come across my face.

"No! You can't make me!" I yell.

"Yes, we can" He smirked.

"FIGHT ME!!!" I scream darting out of the room.

I began running as fast as I could, not looking back. I felt a little pinch in my back. But I ignored it and kept going. I started to slow down and it seemed as if I couldn't keep my eyes open. I then noticing myself walking, then eventually dragging myself along the floor. Then I came to the conclusion that I had been shot with something.

"Come on! He can't win.." I cough.

But it was too late..
