She was born with
Blonde hair
Hazel eyes and
The most rosy of cheeks

As she grew up
She wasn't like the other girls
Her parents
Her brother
Her friends
They all knew it
Everyone but her

She had little female friends
All very masculine when she did
She preferred
mens shirts over womens
Sneakers over heels
And pants over dresses

She never understood females
She was never a fan of their
Music
Movies
Them

Later in life
She fully embraced the feminist in her
But still tried to ignore that
Gut wrenching
Stomach twisting feeling
That she was different

It was all the same
Until she realised
She had a crush
-no-
was in love with her best friend
A girl

She knew her parents
Were always excepting of Lgbt+ people
But her mother always tried
To get her to be more
Feminine
Told her to not wear
Black t-shirts
Dark jeans
Layer after layer
Telling her that she was not a he
But she never understood
How her mother could except lgbt+
But not understand that clothes have

NO

FUCKING

GENDER

She finally smiled
Years later
When she discoverd the terms
Genderfluid, nonbinary
Because she finally discovered
That she was
Not
Alone
That they
Were not alone

To this day, they identify
As genderfluid, as they
To all of their friends
Their followers
To themself
Anyone but her parents.
