Ninth Division

Today I would be introduced to the Gotei 13. Most people would be nervous but I could care less. I'm here just to get my job done and go on about my business. Besides me there was one other female captain Soi Fong. She was quite interesting as the captain of the second division. Strong and determined; well respected amongst the captains.
I knew I was early as not even the captain commander, Genryuusai, was here. Soon enough though others made their way in followed by their vice captains. A extremely tall male with short black hair, scar running down the side of his face, and a tattoo, approached me.

"New captain (y/n) I presume?" He asked with a raised brow. Looking at him with a stoic expression I nodded my head. "I am your vice captain Shuhei Hisagi."

Our "bonding" moment was short lived as the captain commander entered the room. We stood in line with the other captains and waited for him to speak. Now that I look around many of the captains were giants compared to me except two. Yachiru, the vice captain to Kenpachi and Toushiro the tenth division's captain. We were the youngest captains here but that doesn't mean we are naïve.

"As you all may know we have a new captain amongst us. Introduce yourself please." Genryuusai said his voice booming throughout room.

"My name is (y/n) (l/n) the new ninth division's captain. It is an honour to be working with the nine of you." I greeted stepping out so they could get a better look of me. It was silent as they quietly checked over me speculating every feature.

"That us all for now. Since she is new I expect you all to show her how things run here, but fear not she is a very quick learner." He said leaving.

"I am Soi Fong its a pleasure to be working with you captain (l/n)" she did coming over to greet me.

"No need for formalities." I told her catching a sword aimed for my back. Warm blood dripped from my hand. "A sly move captain Kenpachi."

"You're not so bad for a shrimp." He said pulling his blade away.

"If you're going to fight do it somewhere else Kenpachi." A woman said. She had her hair in a braid in front of her with a dangerous vibe emanating from her. That must be captain Unohanna. I thought wiping my blood on my jacket.

"We will leave you for now; you must be busy as re the rest of us. Do you need someone to show you to your office?" It was captain Hitsugaya.

"I thank you for the offer but no I know the way." I said declining his offer. He nodded his head and walked away with his vice captain. Most of the captains had left as well and captain Kuchiki left right as Genryuusai did.

"I have some things to do right now, but later you can show you around if you'd like." Hisagi said following me.

"I will be fine no need to bother you. If I need your assistance with anything I will let you know vice captain Hisagi." I said opening my office door. He nodded his head and left leaving me with a pile of work to do.
